My 2 XBOXs have arrived.
While there was no actual "xbox" per se, my package had the GID Rebel Ink plus a sealed bag of shirts, a trucker hat, a belt and some other stuff - I haven't actually opened that yet to investigate further though.
All in all, pretty cool!

It seems like a majority of the GID boxes were shipped after the first batches went out. I am glad I waited a few extra days!

Good score Arin!

Let's see the belt and T-shirts you got

Damn, a little harsh guys. This new guy/gal obviously is excited about what he got and is willing to help someone get something they may want. What is the problem here? This place seems to be run by board nazis as of late.

I am looking forward to seeing some pics of your collection Irishstout!

I am sure there is someone willing to take the gold balzac off your hands. Try posting in the correct section for that.

One last thing... grammar nazis are lame!

I really hope this isn't the case. I don't feel that anyone should get less of a shot to get the "good" items from the x-boxes just because they got their payment in later than anyone else. These are supposedly all blind boxes, so to throw the junk boxes out to the late payers is seriously fucked up and I really hope secret base is not doing this. If you pay you should have the same shot as anyone else for the goods.

Now aren't you happy that SB does stuff like that

That's a huge X box. I got one figure and a towel in my box. Arin's is almost like the 20K bags.

This was two ordered. The R.I. was in a separate box. I got the same two types when I ordered. One with the Gold Bagman and the other with the other items. I'd rather have a figure than t-shirts that don't fit.

Ah OK....makes sense now. So do they always pair up a good to really good box with a "merchandise" box if you order two? Maybe better to order using two different names

I think if your order was placed early you got good stuff in all (maybe)?? I waited a day before I finally ordered. I WISH I had went over when they opened and picked up a few more.

Yep these are the spoils of 2 boxes.
I would have preferred to get all toys instead of all the other "goods" but I can't really complain. Not that I would buy most of the clothing or other items from s-b, but for the price those items together was a pretty huge deal based on the retail prices.
I actually am stoked that the t-shirt fits too haha

So in the shop, did they actually have everything in little boxes? I was kind of expecting that when I opened the package but everything was just in there together. I figured the RI was one "box" and the merch was the other.

Post Re: XBOX
no arin, there is no figure in the boxes at the shop.
if there are, it would be too easy to pick the right boxes if u are there physically.

The "black boxes" are stacked on a table in the corner of the shop.
u pick the box u want, pay for it and then u open the box infront of the SB staff. there is a card in each box. The card has a drawing on it.
For example, the mechandise box you got is marked with a card "SBDX" which stands for SB DeluX set.
the SB staff will then pick the item u won from under the counter and hand-over to you.
so you can imagine it is very addictive when you open a box, get something not too bad, and then continue trying your luck. hence before i realised, i already opened 7 boxes & stopped when i got the same SBDX box.
i seem to observe that there are more variations in the shop boxes or maybe there are still surprises which are just not posted yet or maybe the rarer items were already picked since most guys at the shop buy multiple boxes.

i am also curious how the mail order boxes are handled? do the SB staff pick the box on your behalf, opened it and see what u "win"?

Thanks for the info - I can definitely understand how addicting it could get in person!
