yeah, some lucky bastard won that beautiful tin. BTW, i have a love for tin, and have some in my collection. it comes down to price and i cant shell out the bucks the high rollers in tin do. would love to see more pics of your collection josh. you definatly have a black belt in the art of focusing on the pieces you want.

I was surprised to see this go so high too. It is in minty shape but wow.
I did see a bagged Kanegon go for 64000 a couple of years ago.

Neato! Thank you for posting that auction ClubTokyo. Does anyone know if this Poppy Inazuman was made before or after the Bandai version? And what years were the Bandai vs. Poppy versions manufactured? ...sorry for my stupidity , but I just have to know! KR and Baikin, I nearly swooned when I saw the giant Kanegon photos you both posted!!! They are gorgeous! Wish I could adopt one, they'd make good kittee sitters, but Hubby would probably have a fit

Unlicensed Majin Bander set. Ended at 15,000 yen. I want to say that I'm surprised, but in a way, I'm not.

Re: strange or rare yahoo auctions post here (after theyre over)
This is a mystery item in my eyes. It is supposed to be the Bandai 12" non-removable mask, non-missile firing figure from Inazuman Flash. A handful of these exist. The problem is, the bootlegs have these popy markings on the feet, but I can almost 100% swear (and I need to check) that the missile fire version which is identical in every way (except that it has the missile fire action) is marked Bandai. Because of this fact, I was not willing to go deep until I knew exactly what was up. If it is legit, it was a very fair price, if not, someone got rooked hard. Mr. Humphreys wrote: Neato! Re: strange or rare yahoo auctions post here (after theyre over)
Some CRAZY Fujiko-Fujio character auctions!: Wind up Teketeke (not sure what show / manga this is from) went for 69,500 yen ($777 USD): http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b112583237But way crazier than that, this Paaman vinyl went for a cool 832,000 yen! ($9,172 USD) http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k124997816Can anyone comment on the rarity of these? (I guess the prices alone speak to the rarity, come to think of it... ; )
