So awesome! Nothing beats those old ones. I love the original, big and bulky as hell 12" figures a lot myself.

For those of you craving some monstery goodness, the Rancor (the ROTJ version, not the video game one with the war paint and baby ent) is on sale at Target for $25, half off.

This one is awesome...my girlfriend got it for me for my birthday a while ago and I love it! Way cooler than the game one. I think the regular size Rancor Keeper figure is out now as well.

Re: The Star Wars Toy Thread.
While I appreciate the "monster" concept, it should have never been applied in that manner. A zombie stormtrooper would be appropriate (read the Death Troopers novel), but never in bobblehead form. Bobbleheads should all be destroyed.

Yoda looks like he's had a bad day with the younglings. Still tho, I recently got the Medicom VCD Yoda and the Funcko version looks better in a cartoony sense.

Re: The Star Wars Toy Thread.
I love Medicom's VCD series overall. These are stupid I think. Why would a Wookie be a werewolf? WTF? What's Yoda even supposed to be monster-wise? A pissed old guy? Fuck this, seriously! I'm pretty sick of all the "vinyl collectable" bullcrap in main stream toys. I think Medicom's VCD's are cool but that's about it. I can't even call these "creative" they're just lame and dumb. I'd rather have just seen something like an artists series of takes on the main characters turned into figures or something (which I usually hate, but at least it's something different as far as big toy companies/lines go!)
The new AT-AT makes up for all this crap though. Also my vintage Jabba consoles me every day. I gotta get some more vintage 12" Star Wars figures, they're so amazing. Everytime I got to the vintage toy shop I'm super tempted. IG-88 looks at me every time begging me to take him home.

Exactly, I guess that's why I think Yoda is the only one in this bunch that looks ok. It looks like they just gave him a pissed off expression. I can see it next to my VCD Vader or Darth Maul like he's about to deliver some arse whippin. BTW I'd love to see how you've built up your VCD collection, post em if you would please.

24 inches tall, nearly 28 inches long, 12 inches wide, holds up to 20 figures, WOW. http://jediinsider.com/index.php?catid=8&itemid=12548

I good friend of mine Daryl works for Hasbro, last time I saw him he was shaking GL hands, lol. I'll see if I can get some inside info on this thing. It's a long shot but I'll give it a go.

The big-ass Millenium Falcon was revealed in pretty much the same way last year. Just think, it will be as tall as Super7's Jumbo Stormtrooper.

Yep, (forgive me DDD for the misspell) We go back to the days hanging out at the old atl.toys.gi-joe newsgroup. He first got signed on at Hasbro cause of his extensive knowledge of GI Joe's then when the 6th scale market tanked he moved on to Star Wars and other big things. DDD is one of the good joes.

I'm still really bitter about the last 3 Star Wars that came out but I really like this 24 inch trashcan.
