We're less than a week away from the big show, gang, and I hope to see all you FLASKers out in full force on Saturday night to welcome Josh and Lee to sunny Florida!

We've a got a great time planned, with plenty of new amazing paintings and toys, free food and drinks, and even a Vampire Rose Signing by you know who.

Sneek peeks and interviews with both artist to come shortly. Keep an eye on http://super7florida.com all week for all of the heat.

Glad to hear it, Frank!!!

I know most of the FLASK Crew will also be in attendance, and there are several people flying in for the event.

And the toys and paintings that will be on offer are truly next level type stuff, so it should certainly be a rousing affair!

This Saturday evening Florida (720 2nd St. N., St. Petersburg) will proudly welcome the artwork of the esteemed painting duo of Leecifer and Josh Herbolsheimer to Florida's shores. The exhibition will feature a multitude of works on canvas, wood, and vinyl and include the unveiling of the Valentine's Day Vampire Rose vinyl figure.

Festivities will begin promptly at 7:00 pm, and Josh Herbolsheimer will be on hand for a special Vampire Rose signing, including a couple of extra special giveaways for a couple of lucky guests. Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Show attendees will have the first opportunity at toy and artwork purchases, with any remaining items to be sold the following day on Florida's Online Shop.

For those of you who haven't seen Josh's and Lee's work in person you are in for a real treat. The paintings and toys look amazing in pictures but in person they are stunning.

Hahah. That one wasn't part of the show! It was a commissioned piece for a boardie!

I'm sure there's a better pic of it somewhere, but look what I snagged! :D :D :D :D :D

Best Squirm ever, far as I'm, concerned. Rises to a level way above squirmness. Just exudes personality. Close call between the blue one shown above and this one, but this one was--well, perfect! The portrait matched the figure matched the octopus.

And as you might expect, the show itself was filled with great people.

@Leecifer. Where were you?

My second favorite piece was the Damaged WallyEye. Here it is, eye dead on. The central yellow pupil is really a highlight due to the flash. (I guess a kaiju's version of red eye.) It's actually pure orange.

Image

The eye is recessed....looks way better in person. You can get an idea here, even though the gator is hogging the camera.
