 Re: Roto's new Lake Monsters
that is different, the first mammalian monster out there. it looks like it lurks in the dark and comes out to maul teenagers. can't wait for future paints and hope they'll have some left by next thursday at 2 or 3 am.

 Re: Roto's new Lake Monsters
the orange one seems very "where the wild things are." i wish the stances or poses were a bit stronger, but these definitely expand the lake monsters territory.

 Re: Roto's new Lake Monsters
A little overly designed for me, but the cat eared one is sorta cute.

 Re: Roto's new Lake Monsters
I like both of them. I don't like the treatment on the orange eye ball. But maybe it will work with paint.

 Re: Roto's new Lake Monsters
i'm digging the furry i'm-coughing-up-an-eye-hair-ball guy now that i see how long his arms are. but i wish the frog-fish guy had articulated arms. i take back what i said about their stances, though. these two are a fun pair!

 Re: Roto's new Lake Monsters
nice! still don't know what to make of the open mouthed furry creature but i'm enjoying mini gut gecko more every time i look at it. fantastic detail on the gills and back.

IamMordecai wrote: lol reminds me of the nematoad from doug. Kaloo-Cuckoo!! I was a bit skeptical seeing the frog/fish toy from the front-view only, but seeing it from the side and back does a lot more for me. The posture of the character makes me like much more, and I love the varied texture that the scales bring to the back in contrast with the smooth belly. I agree with Ultra999 tho, I really wish the arms were articulated.

 Re: Roto's new Lake Monsters
I think the frog/fish/gekko guy is only $30 which explains the lack of articulation. He's like mini figure/monster family size. Maybe a bit fatter.

 Re: Roto's new Lake Monsters
so the furry guy is fight figure size? i thought its height was closer to standard. it's difficult to tell the scale from just photos!
also are these two actually released as is, or are they just prototypes for display?
