I think almost everything that has been shown on twitter was released. Alot of them were SDCC releases and limited releases.

And even at Shinto Gangu, if you're not there within a day or two, there's no chance that there will be any left. As of Sunday evening, Mori had sold the last of his cupcake chaos man, black and white rub evil, armored chaos, and all the Mutant Zone Series 3 except a few of his blue and white evil bats.

These micro-releases have a tendency to pop up on Lulubell, but I didn't think to ask.

These are two different Mutant Heads. The Shinto Gangu release is yellow eyes, with white details, and the SDCC is red eyes with silver details

Damn, if I was in Tokyo I'd be going there every couple of days to check out new releases. It must be pretty exciting going to a store and not knowing what they'll have in terms of new releases!

Yeah, mine is slightly. They were all hand painted by Hossy from Pop Soda.

Are you sure? Unless he did a run of special handpaints, I'm pretty sure refreshment minis are made by a woman in Kansai. (Although Popsoda does carry them in their shop.) I have a lot of figures painted by Hossy-san, and none of them are tacky.

I didn't mean to say that Hossy paints tacky figures, I just meant that he did the run for SDCC. It seemed like they were pretty small runs, so I was thinking they were possibly painted differently. Also my cupcake has a slight rub-style paint app.

Either way no complaints from me! I love the figure as wish I would have picked up the other versions at SDCC. Sorry if that all came out wrong before. I'm tired!

The paint has slowly been drying and becoming less tacky. Hopefully the paint will be dry in a few more weeks. Wonder what kind of paint they used?

DH - It's cool. I'd actually like to see Hossy's take on these. I like his paint style. Last time I was in Osaka, I bought one of those cupcakes for my Japanese teacher's daughter. I think it's cool that more woman designers like her and Uamou are becoming more active and joining vets like Michiko-san (Vinyl Junkies) in creating sofubi toys.
