Hoping the micro-runs are a thing of the past . . . so much good stuff slipped through the net! i hear you scary. after the initial wows welcoming back the old school style, i thought it is rather ironical to see rxh going one full round to fall back on the micro releases to arouse interest. are the mirco runs of 10+/- necessary to ensure sellout in the slow summer months? if so, it is a sorry sight for the company since the fanbase should have grown over the years. i assume one motivation may be to reward the faithfuls who visit the shop everyday and the privileged few who are guaranteed the releases they want. understandably this group love such releases as these differentiate the collection from the rest of the common folks. finally they have something special after sticking with the company through good & tough times. it is understandable for a company to do so but surely after more than a dozen excellent releases later, these faithfuls have been rewarded more than enough?

S'funny, as much as I agree with you Joe I don't think Mori can ever win . . . he does big runs we say 'too common', he does lot's of releases we say 'slow down', he does micro-runs and we say 'we want more!' That said, some of the micro run colourways are mindblowing and I too hope the quality continues.

 Re: New RxH . . .
I'm curious how much of these micro runs are influenced by time constraints. If Mori wanted to "reward" those that visit Shinto Gangu, I have a feeling that he would make a larger run, and keep them in store only. As it is, the "reward" for trekking to Aoto is only applicable on certain days, if you arrive within the first few minutes of opening. Mori's painfully busy with a lot of projects, and instead of doing large releases less often, he intersperses them with these tiny releases, seemingly to help maintain interest. It's definitely caused a lot of conversations and interest in RxH toys, and maybe that's the point.

 Re: New RxH . . .
i love that mori is doing micro runs, and i haven't been able to score any of them! i see it as a great thing.. lots of unique releases and beautiful free sprays, stirring collector's feathers and making us want MORE! i also have a feeling that the rxh u.s. site is about to reward us nicely with some beautiful releases

Mori painted himself into a corner long ago. I have no clue how he could fix it now. Maybe the new site will do made to order runs, that might help.

I suspect the micro runs result from time constraints, but with the added side benefit of sparking new interest from the faithful and un-initiated.
