 Re: GREASEBAT
Flipping like this is the reason I think toy manufacturers should have at least one colorway that is always in production. If it sells out, then make some more. No one would bother buying at least that version of the toy if they knew they could get later.
You can still make your show exclusive colorways, and those will still be flipped, but at least people won't be crying about not even having a chance at a toy (NagNagNag/Bemon), nor will collectors be offended when their special version gets customised (like the GID Sludge Demon recently). Customisers get their "blanks" and collectors get at least one version of a great toy.

 Re: GREASEBAT
Great ideas guys, I like the open edition idea too. If there is one, it would be similar to the green one out now. I don't just like that idea, I love it.
I would like everybody that wants one to get one at a fair price.
There really will be lots more releases of different vinyls, blanks etc. But yeah I think the open edition idea would help with tha flippahs

 Re: GREASEBAT
I think the idea of an open edition sounds awesome, but the actuality of it isn't as nice. I think a made to order edition would be a better idea IMO. Kinda like Elegab does, you can order a painted or unpainted version then they go into production and a month or so later you have a new toy. The unpainted could be for those who want customs made, to paint themselves, or who just love naked vinyl. Everyone gets what they want and is happy in the end.

 Re: GREASEBAT
An open edition would allow those artists that want to paint one (dlux, Drils, etc) to do so w/o having to strip a painted run or one of the blanks. Plus, I want to commission Jeff for one. heh.

Yeah, I'd like to commission Leecifer for one but I can't even get my hands on any painted ones to keep

Forget it. Cancer is the biggest fucking curse on humanity. It not only kills people, it destroys families, smashes dreams, makes children lose their parents, spouses their partners, parents their children. My wife was diagnosed three years ago, and although she survived a year and a half of chemo, surgery, radiation, and hormone therapy, her lymphatic system is fucked. She spends an hour and a half a day strapped into a machine that makes sure her arm and chest don't permanently swell up. My daughter worries every day her mom is gonna die. Don't fucking make jokes about cancer.

Waiting... wrote: if he needs that much money because his mom has cancer I am totally cool with that, if not I kinda hope his mom gets cancer wow this hurts. if you had any clue how cancer affects people and those in their lives you would think twice about your comment. cancer is the worst thing humanity faces on a disease level. your comment seems very young and ignorant. i lived it as did a few members here have from what i have read. i speak from survival.

Open edition with pupils variations would be fun. (And kentucky bluegrass as a base or as the open blank run...)

 Re: GREASEBAT
I apologize to anyone that I may have offended, I did not think about collateral damage that was not my intention, I've had members of my family die of cancer, but I could have wished any bad thing on an idividual and I would venture to guess someone on this board has experienced it, it does not mean I want to hurt anyone intentionally unless they are a flipper

 Re: GREASEBAT
On the flipper, there shouldn't be any excuses or reasons. It's just plain flipping. Why would anyone make a trip to NYCC, buy a couple hundred dollars worth of toys and flip it to make another couple of hundred because they need the money Puny brain. If you want to make real money, buy a shit load and flip a shit load. Wasting so much time and effort over a couple of hundred is just lame.

He's even trying to legitimize his flipping by making his bay account like a store. Fuckin dickhead trying to profit off of screwing others. Great aspirations.
