we're all watching the auctions anyways. When it's at a grand I would say the auction is already blown out...but ok I'l let us all watch the auctions in privacy and be bummed out by the flippers and the guys with a grand to buy it.

People have been so dickish on this board about Nags, I can understand why somebody would just say fuck it and sell theirs on eBay, rather than put it up here for a lower price and still have to listen to a lot of griping for trying to "keep it in the family."

I live in Tampa, neighboring city to St. Pete. I wish they would have just sold it to me, whoever it is.

Do y'all think Mr. Shigeru can figure out which of his Genjins is being sold based on the idiosyncracies of each individual paint job. It would be nice if these people were eliminated from the pool of prospective lottery winners.

i don't think its that simple. there are at least 20 - 25 diehards on here who actually enjoy toys and its a damn shame some folks have to veiw others art only as a chance to make a buck, its really ruining this hobby same thing it did to vinyl records. most punk bands never made much money but today some asshat will make thousands of $$$ with a small stack of wax in an eBay auction just because they can.

certain members here have been doing this for quite sometime and it would not shock me in the least if they thought is was fun to do this. to them it is business, folks who make money selling other folks products, even if they are collectors themselves are only in it for the money. at the end of the day they probably sit in their homes thinking how much their collection is worth.

i have had it happen to me and have had long discussions on how not to have this happen and there is no way to prevent it whatsoever. if folks think they can profit on your stuff they will try and do so. who knows maybe that is what success is really all about? none for me thanx, from the point of a fan tho there is nothing worse.
