 Re: Best Toy Line-ups?
Gigabrain..They basically update (Gigan,62 Goji)or make toys that didn't exist(Jet Jaguar,65 Goji) in Marmit's Monster Heaven line.
Though I hear they're connected to Marmit so it kinda makes sense.

I keyed the same when I first read the opening gambit but deleted it seeing as they also make a shit ton of stuff I wouldn't give shelf-space . . 1:1 Skull, Dr Mortality (and the creepy girl version), Hysteric Glamour crossovers, Infection Monsters, McSupersize, skull headed bottles, Obake Dogs . . . even the last Usugrow item that has to be displayed in its box was kinda meh. Definitely agree on the all the fighters but at least 50% of Secret Base's output is pure 'filler'.

That's what keeps them off my "perfect" list. All the artist colabs. I mean I respect them for it, but I just don't like the toys. Their Zokki line though, perfect. Anraku's all I can think of (aside from companies with only 2-3 sculpts which I'm not going to count since it's too easy.) Now when we say line-up are we talking purely sculpt or every single painted and unpainted version ever made, sculpt AND paint?

But if you can find a toy line where you like ALL the sculpts and ALL the colorways let's hear it! (Still works for my EXOHEAD!) And I like how Carl carved out a line (Fight Figures) from a company (Secret Base). In my mind I was thinking of an entire company's output...but I agree that Dr. M, Infection Monsters, etc don't fit with the Fight Figure line. Same with the Zokki vs Artist series for Gargamel. But I can't separate them for my determination - in my mind they're still SB or Gargamel and are "filler" in their overall output (plus, I don't like all of SB's fighters or all the Zokki figures).

Always liked Obake, 'Brain, 'Wing, Mantis and Madball. And I'm cool with Bee now...don't love it, but don't hate it either. Those are the "original" SB fighters, right? It's the newer Fighters I don't like so much - D.Brain, Bagman, FrankenGhost/Fighter, Shark/Cyclo. And I think the Pushead sculpts are really good, I just hate pirates. So great figures, but lame characters. And the siamese mash-up looks incredibly stupid, IMO. Wish he had done zombies or anything other than pirates.

 Re: Best Toy Line-ups?
Its pretty easy for me to ignore the ther SB toys as these are produced for other companies under the SB Entertainment umbrella. Along with teh clothing, its what keeps SB alive and kicking to produce the occasional fight fig. Once could also add Frankenghost et al to that list as these are produced for S7 - but those fit nicely with the other SB fights. ET King, McSupersizeME (which I like), Dr M, chrome-snake-thing all fit into SB Entertainment - not SB designed toys.
I also like teh entire Gargamel Zokki line-up - Zag, Bako, Deathra, Mibora etc... all rule... The RxH OF 4 also.
But as much as I like the original Garga-fights, and have nearly all of them, they just dont do it for me like the SB line does. I can look at myriad versions of te same sculpt and still be stoked. There is something about them...

 Re: Best Toy Line-ups?
while i can think of several that i like most of their output. they all seem to have that handful that i either actively dislike or am meh on. i think i would have to say zollmen, i would own everything that they have released.
with the m1go's/bear models/makers of licensed stuff aren't you predisposed to kinda like all of there output since you're are familiar with the movies/shows/ect. just curious

 Re: Best Toy Line-ups?
I cannot think of one Elegab toy that I do not like. Plus, he's making consistently great toys nonstop, albeit a little on the shelf-hogging side.
Honorable mention to Skull Toys, although he's so busy with other things, we only see a few toys each year.

The sheer diversity and variation of Secret Base blows my mind!

 Re: Best Toy Line-ups?
Hmm...2 pages have gone by and Zollmen barely mentioned on this thread---
I am quite surprised, since each new toy sculpt by Zoll creates quite a stir on the Japan section.
Toy line up I "like"? This can be used loosely...for example, I kinda like, or like this sculpt, "but the paint app doesn't do anything for me." Or, "maybe a GID version would rock, but I like the sculpt."
Zollmen is one of the newest, and has come out with a release after release that is relatively sought after. Zudons, Badzillas, Mothers, Mad Barons, Zoll Fancy Line, Bobongo, MG5, ETC...does variety of sculpt after sculpt come with premium in terms of "Best Toy Line Up", within a short period of let's say 2 to 3 years?
For me, in no particular order, Zollmen, Cronic, and Anraku Ansaku.

 Re: Best Toy Line-ups?
I'd say, besides Bemon (with or without Gorilla), Zollmen. I pretty much like everything they release (can't really think of one sculpt that I'd say no to when it comes to Zollmen).
