In hand Hitogomira surpasses my expectations. Beating this one for the TOP 2011 releases will be really, really difficult.

Exactly! After ordering version 1, I figured I would pass on the lottery version (and save some money), until I saw the two-color faces. Mine should arrive today -- the mailman has it, he's just waiting for my signature. Fightin' Hitogomiras!

I could own this one... still sort of hoping for a good Hitto paint job, but after realizing he has an unnecessary tail as well, sort of turned off to that sculpt. The tail is the worst part of Smog as well. I can see one peaking out from behind this guy, but it seems more contained.

I think i would like this one better without the extra head in the middle. but I dunno...it looks kind of cool sometimes.

Errr... I wish he'd lay off the tails. I want to own more of his stuff but there's always something I don't like on the newer releases.

I don't mind Nari's tails. I like it on the Smog king and I like it on this new figure. Can't wait.

I agree. The tails add a random quality to Nari's work that I really like, which I think goes along well with the roughness of parts of his sculpts, the crazily irrational colors, the consistently crooked teeth, etc. The veins running down Hitogomira's back to his tail are really great, for example -- they make no sense, but they're really great.

So, I wonder if Nari will ever branch out into more of the hero designs of his universe. His kaiju are all unique and creative,, but I would likely spill blood for a vinyl toy of the crazy hand jet currently on the page header.

I met with Naritada a couple months ago, and made a similar comment about the tails taking up too much space on my shelf. He said he'll occasionally pop the tails off to display them, although that makes them fairly unstable. I'd like to think there's a huge box of tails somewhere at his place.

Which version is this? WAIT better question, how many versions are there now? I was trying to keep up but Elegab is dropping things like all the time so I suck at keeping up.

I need one of these. Is that red vinyl? I know, I'm totally "n00bin" on this. I'd love to see a black, flesh or brown one too.
