Coma21- I havent been impressed with the GL movie figures, the only figures that are worth picking up are the GL DCUC line sculpted by the 4 horsemen.

I grab everything though thats the problem!! i pre-movie owned everything but three figures for green lantern, so i wasnt gonna let myself be beat now.

Yeah I've built a Castle Von Doom for Baddies, and A thrown for Galactus and his Infinity Gauntlet palls (Legos are a Nerds, ahem I mean collectors, best friend)... Really what got me was Illeana (Collosuss's Sister) and Warlock... It's a slippery slope, but they're relatively cheap so hey... I just wish they would Make a set of New Gods (Kirby Era) so I could call it quits... I may have some customs whipped up sooner or later. I picked up a ton of the DC Direct Kirby New Gods for sale for around 2.50 a piece NIB at a going out of business sale, at a Marshalls. (Think T.J. Maxx)... I love me some JK.

Man i would have killed for them to do four packs for the DC stuff. The last marvel sets i got were the Black Bolt set and Iron Fist set. Two of my top three marvel characters (minus hawkeye).

well, finally got them out and displayed. i'm still missing about 8, but majority of those are hordak gimmick figures (hurricane hordak, etc) which i probably won't be getting. anyways, here's the whole motu collection shot (and pretty much my entire N-VAT collection).

if you are talking about the orange head dude between baltar and imperious leader, its name is Boray, from the 2nd series in '78.

WOW, great collection. I particularly love the Blackstar guys, but you should pick up some of the 'sparker' versions. Hours of fun to be had, and the chest crystals look pretty cool too. What line do the the other He-man knock-offs (e.g. the box to the left of the Blackstar ones) generally consist of?

are you talking about the dino headed dudes with the skullhead in the center of the group? those are remco warrior beasts. all i am missing is ramar (released in 2 different colors) and wolf warrior. they were made to be the "bad guys" to remco's lost world of the warlord line, or so that is what many believe/say. by far my favorite motu-ko line!

i too love the sparkers. i do have a vizir which is a sparker, but i don't have his staff, and the completist displayer in me won't work that in to the set-up.  series 2 of blackstar was basically all the same figures as series 1, just with the sparking action put in. series 3 is where all the sparking gold is at, imo! i really want to get my hands on a complete kloud kat in top notch shape from that series!

 So true of many of my old toys as I recall! Man, your pics are making wish I was back home to line up some of my old figures too. Speaking of accessories, one of the lines that had the best IMO was Visionaries.

visionaries are awesome! they are hard too come by complete with hologram chest pieces though (at least for a reasonable price)! so i don't have any yet, and all mine from my childhood are long gone, like everything else....but it has been tons of fun rebuilding that nostalgia!
glad you are digging my throwback collection photos here.
i just scored the full set of Earth Force figures & Swat Kats figures (the latter not so old-school, but i am a remco completist  :D ). no weapons or accessories for any of them though ( ). i'll post some pics of that junk when the box comes in...
