Im playing, FIFA 98 on ps1. A damn good game!

I love it. I still die a lot but not nearly as much as I was when I was playing Black-Ops. Haha.

I die about the same but don't care. I'm just jumping between it for cheap thrills and Batman for somewhat more expensive, but still thrifty, thrills.

I prefer it to Black Ops, my kill ratio sucks still but it's pretty fun. I do wish they had some more open maps, not that I can use a sniper rifle that well, these maps seem a little cramped.

I was all about using the sniper rifles in W@W, but I don't think I've gotten a single sniper kill in MW3 (never played Black Ops).

Oh, you know, just been kicking ass on Xbox Live with my comrade Zangief (in the blue Mecha Zangief alt. costume, looks like an homage to Mega Man, kind of) in SSFIVAE. It feels really good to beat someone who's ranked much higher than you, or some lame Ryu / Ken / Akuma / Gouken / Oni / Evil Ryu shoto-clone turd, which is 80% of the players on there.

That and some LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga with the girlfriend.

Yeah, I'm a suck ass sniper. I try now and then and always get caught before I let a round off or I miss in a sad, sad way.

I think CoD4 has better sniping maps. Was not impressed by MW2 so I never bothered with anything after since there are no dedicated servers. I've always played on hardcore servers so sniping is much better. Like most, I use the .50cal...mainly for bullet penetration. I prefer the M40A3 or M21 but I'm working on getting gold weapons for some.
Also playing Tribes Ascend.

Sniping is a joke in MW in my opinion. Quick scoping was all the craze in MW2 and still is. But I love playing against them, cause they're easy targets for a quick drop shot.

sniping is wack. i put an acog attachment with not-so-high sensitivity controls when i use sniper rifles. i play hardcore games, so a shot in the foot gets me a kill.

If only you were on ps3 I'd be down to for some matches. No shoto here. Just a shitty cammy

Ugh, tell me about it. I play E. Honda and shotos can be a fucking nightmare, especially when they spam hadokens.

Bass makes the game way easy, I can't clear MM10 with Proto though, he takes damage like a punk.

I COULD NOT beat that game with Rockman, I barely beat it with Bass. That is the hardest damn Megaman game I ever played.

I played an Akuma player who would just jump backwards and air hadouken till he came to a wall. Then I'd beat him up a little, then he'd jump away and repeat the process. I wound up kicking his ass, and I believe the replay was uploaded to the leaderboards, but one round actually went to a time out. It was utterly ridiculous.

I've never played SF competitively, at least not since I was a teenager, so it's been a lot of fun lately.

Do you play with a pad or a stick? I recently got the Madcatz Fightpad (Blanka!) and it reminds me of the days of playing Capcom fighters on my Saturn.

Haha, yeah, they're pretty much all like that. As soon as the round starts they jump back and hadoken.

I played with a pad at first (have a madcatz as well), but it wasnt' accurate enough for charge characters, IMO. Ended up getting the TE stick and even though I play much worse with it, it's more fun to play now (and I don't miss as many moves).

So I have some days off this week, and I decided to pick up a game to conquer through. Sadly, out of all the award-winning games out, I picked up Shadows of the Damned. I JUST finished it (5mins before posting this) and I was a bit underwhelmed. Or more so, all was a bit expected. I'm a HUGE fan of Suda51 (reason why I felt obligated to play this, as I have played every one of his other games- sans No More Heroes 2, which is next) and I think being paired with EA, they toned down his craziness. While the game had TONS of crazy, some of it was "expected". Clocking in at 8.5hrs, which was 4 hours too many, I was ready for the journey through Hell to be over. I have had my fill on killing demons for a LONG time. To sum up the game, imagine the gameplay of Resident Evil 4 (Where Shinji's Mikami's side comes in), the world of Devil May Cry, the crazy script and quirkiness of No More Heroes, throwbacks to Evil Dead (whole level dedicated to the film) and other horror-grindhouse signatures, and the soundtrack of Silent Hill (composer of SH, with The Damned) with punk/rock n' roll infused. If they would have made it a 5hr game and cut out some of the running around levels, and just kept the main action, bosses, and gimmicky-fun stages in, it probably would have been the most badass game ever. But it over did it on the levels and constant swarms of demons. And while it was Suda's most "accessible" game to play, its kind of toned down for the fans. Ending was satisfactory, but a bit too late. If your are a fan of Suda51, I suggest you owe it to yourself to play it. If not, you can pass.
