Gargamel Lucky Bags

Dudes and Dudettes of CASK....

We're going to have a few (6) Gargamel Lucky Bags and I want our dear CASK to have first shot.

We'll be getting them in the mail either Thursday or Friday if all goes to plan....so....I'd propose a get together/release either this Friday evening or Saturday afternoon.

Can I please hear from anyone who wants to come get an LB (price is $350) and your preferred date for doing so? I thought it'd be nice if we can do a little get together so people who get a bag can do some trades.

I'd prefer Friday evening, but if more people can make it on Saturday I'll drag myself out of bed and come down to the store for a Saturday get-together.

EDIT: It's going to have to be Friday night....working out details right now.

i know i won't be able to buy anything (stupid wedding), but i'd be down for getting together to see what everyone
else gets! (and if there's a chance to somehow get a micro killer from a lucky bag buyer, so much the better!)

What would be good for you?

Friday 11-2 pm (but I know some of you work "regular" hours) or Sunday but early, like at opening, kids bday party later that day.

Because it's all about ME muwahaha (even if it doesnt work out it's awesome to even consider catering to my bizarre schedule, you guys are the best.)

I'm down for a CASK brunch on Sunday if enough people prefer that as well....

So...the options are:

1) Friday night, say 7pm
2) Saturday afternoon
3) Sunday morning (11am) followed or preceded by brunch

Of course if no one is planning on grabbing a bag we can still do a get together, but I need to know how many bags to hold.

That is awesome of you to look out for us like this! I was actually planning to go there on the day you get it and show up at like 7am or so to make sure I get one .. lol. But this saves my fannie from freezing, so I really do appreciate it!

As far as when, I am not 100% sure yet. I might have a birthday party thing to attend to Friday or Saturday night, so I will have to confirm with my friend to make sure what day and time she is planning the event. I'll let you guys know asap!

Willing to take a little more feedback but it's looking like a Sunday morning Lucky Bag Brunch is looking likely.

I propose food at either Bakin' & Eggs (if we're willing to wait in a line, fight a crowd) or we go old school and go the the Golden Apple (not much of a chance we'll have to wait for anything).

Sadly I am poor and cannot afford a lucky bag, I would love to come out and hang out and get some pictures of people's toys though, Sun is fine, but I would really prefer Fri. night or Sat afternoon. Actually Sat afternoon would be awesome. But again, I'm not getting a bag, so who gives a rats ass what I think.

Whitney just reminded me we have plans for Sunday, plus family in town this weekend.

Ok, so I just got confirmation that the Birthday Party thing won't start until later on this Friday night, so I will be able to come out for a little bit. I'll try to get there a little before 7pm.

For those of you who aren't purchasing a bag, maybe you would like to bring some other toys for trade to see if maybe we can be persuaded into trading one or some of our lucky bag treasures with you? Hmmmm? Just a thought.

Also, will we be trading at Roto and then head out to the bar? It just might be too dark and crowded to trade at the bar. Also, I may or may not have enough time to go out to the bar, but we shall see. Hope to see most of you guys there!

Yeah, I hear you. This bag will be the last big (or any) thing that I buy for a while until I find another job.. I've been scrimping and saving up for one of these bags for a while, so I'm still going for one.
