 Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread I think some of the confusion stems from the fact that keshi (short for keshigomu) can refer to both the type of figures these are, as well as erasers. Speaking from my limited experience with kaiju miniature figures, companies have put out both types - i.e. figures have been made for blind boxes, gashapon, blister packages, etc., in all manner of rubberised materials (colours, transparency, softness), some of which are erasers - all are referred to as 'keshi.' This is not even getting in to the actual pencil top eraser lines

Whenever I see that toy I think Space Battleship Yammato would have been better as a giant kaiju. It would have given the show a whole different feel. Maybe a parody would be better.

That version is the first one I found and is by far my favorite. The way the paint blends on the edges with the vinyl is really superb. I'd love to have a matching croucher to go with it.
