 Swedish Metal/Hard Rock bands
Hey all, Ive recently discovered all the greatness coming out of sweden in the hard rock/metal category. Ive already devoured Graveyard, Grand Magus, Spiders, Bombus and Ghost. I like Horisont Witchcraft and Pentagram ok but not as much as the guys listed above. Any other bands im missing out on? Thanks for any reccomendations! A

 Re: Swedish Metal/Hard Rock bands
Truckfighters are probably my favorite band; in the same vein as Kyuss. Great stuff.

 Re: Swedish Metal/Hard Rock bands
If you're looking to a more traditional "hard rock" sound then you may like Sabaton, Arcania or Overkill.
A few of those bands you mention fall into a "doom" sort of vein as well.
Of course, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Entombed or Hellacopters

 Re: Swedish Metal/Hard Rock bands
I love the TruckFighters and will get to see them on March 7, my birthday.
But it is pure QOTSA worship...not Kyuss.

 Re: Swedish Metal/Hard Rock bands
I can't beleive I forgot Katatonia ! Sweden is the country I have the most music from, by far. From Garmarna,The Cardigans to MZ412, there is something in the water there, they do good. I tend to dislike swedish black metal though, as they infuse the music with to much melody, those bastards ! I've be playing this a lot lately http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQYsU_meGcM
