Yep, seeing that two of their coolest paint versions to date are a Medicom exclusive was about as nice as a stab in the dick.
I was really hoping that they'd just be a store or show release instead. Oh well.

Similar to MOTU scale but a little smaller, more lean. They're 7 inches in height.

The Medicom figures sold out so fast. I tried to get some over to the US, but it was a no go.

Oh, I found it to be worse since they'll have MUCH more publicity w/the release selling direct through Medicom. That is good for the company but bad for anyone wanting to buy. Frenzy does not do lottery releases that I'm aware of. AFAIK they're sold direct at Super Festival and through some 2-3 retailers in Japan.

To further nitpick, these cost more than "average" for a midsize vinyl toy - and the Medicom versions were $76/ea before tax/fees/2x shipping. That makes for nearly $200 if you wanted an agent to get you the pair, which is far too much for me to drop considering I've had to pass on the plain/regular ones offered to me for $80/ea (unemployment means more thriftiness). I still have faith that I'll have a handful, or perhaps a bundle of Frenzy sitting on a shelf some day, but I still won't be dropping $100 a pop on em.

Which one is 7" tall? I've only seen & handled Sirius in person, but it seemed more 5.5-6" tall. Maybe it just seemed shorter since it was surrounded by Boss Carrion toys Definitely leaner than 80's bodybuilder girth MOTU toys, but taller to boot.

that is true, medicom releases have always been slightly more expensive then regular releases from the makers since medicom does need their cut of the margin.
what i meant about the lottery is i am glad medicom released this pair of frenzy via normal online sales, not lottery like many of the other releases. frenzy themselves are indeed selling normally via online retailers or events like superfes which i like best.

True but I think it's fair to say that the amount of attention to packaging design that ilu ilu puts into each release justifies somehow the cost... I'm not sure if Frenzy also goes to a similar extent with headers and packaging. Having said this I really like Frenzy toys, in particular the phantom.

The thing about frenzy us it costs a lot to produce weapons as well as every new head or hand set. So if you want to release a new figure but the hand molds cost you a grand and the new weapon cost a grand to make. You have to price accordingly. So yes they are a little expensive but with the wide array of parts and weapons I get it.

I was able to grab a few. Awesome line for sure. Probably my favorite pick ups recently. Better yet it seems some cyborg heads fit the bodies pretty well.

These figures are really great. I only wish they were articulated at the legs too, especially as the added ridigity makes them harder to stand. It sucks that some of the best ones have been released only through Medicom. I have tried to share the fact that there is a whole lot of love from foreign collectors for these with the makers, so hopefully some time in the future we can get an easier way to order them.

Agreed, but it's the closest i've ever been to liking a Max Toy, toy. (Except for the Ontiveros Booska, I love mine)

I can't put my finger on what it is about Frenzy I love, but they have such a mastery over their stylization of anatomy. It's just perfect.
