i'm digging the detail on that sickle. that shiny piece, metal or foil, whatever it is, definitely makes the figure something.

That is just a reflection of light, the blade is actually clear as well. I'm with you, though; this totally looks like a piece of foil in the spot.

The way the light bounces, it really does look metallic in the first photo. But yeah, it's just clear vinyl. If you take a look at the photo with the LED, it's a bit more apparent.

My favorite part of this is that it seems the mask attaches without string! I love the mask concept with the boogies, but I hate the strings because they snap or dye the vinyl.

Love the concept and colorway. I wonder if they have any painted releases planned?

I'd put money it, there will be a painted release, i heard a couple of c3 releases first though but the future is bright for this guy.

I hit up Amy on FB a few weeks ago asking for an update on the GID Thorns....

she never replied..

I emailed her again as well politely asking for an update...

still no response from her...

When she did email me a few months ago, she said she was having email problems and sometimes she got them, other times she wouldnt.

So,...not too sure what to do at this point.. Ive seen like 3-4 of these hit ebay and am wondering how they're making it to the US?

an update of SOME KIND would be nice...even if its "we're still waiting.."

no communication about a pre order that went down in December, but constant grody updates is like a "FUCK YOU" imo.

and the non-communication is getting really old....

My wife loves Cure alot, but this might be my last "pre-order" for her.

Lulu is usually really on point, but the last few messages I sent via FB to inquire onthe GID for buddy who ordered from Lulu were ignored too.

Lulu is closed til the 12th since Amy is out of town but if it's any help I can go to the store and ask for an update in person. Sorry to hear these have yet to arrive and can understand the frustration.

These are pretty awesome. The only other fungah I have really liked was the Frankenberry one, but the primary colors concept is cool for a mixed parts release.

yes, i think this is the first mixed fungah. i dun recall seeing any mixed fungah even at the events where samples were sold.

at the moment that black and pink colourway is a c3 exclusive no general release yet.
