Forgive the title as I didn't know what else to put there.

My wife has a new design idea for a dance bag (the kid is a dancer, ugh!) and I have been out of this game for so long now that I haven't a clue where to look. I was wondering if anyone on the board knew of where I can find a sample maker for the bag?

When I worked at SST one of my jobs was to design new merchandise for the label and its bands. This led me to actually designing new clothing items. When doing so, I would sketch the new designs out then take the ideas to a pattern maker. Patterns were made that were then sent to a sample maker. If the sample was spot on based on the patterns then we went into production. There's a little more to it then that, but you get the idea.

Anyway, I am in search for a sample maker at the moment. The bag is designed, we know where we want to go with it, we just need a sample or two first.

Any ideas, thoughts, advice or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.

Maybe taking the designs to a top-notch tailor somewhere would help?

Thanks Winu. I'll certainly consider that though it is a bag of sorts for carrying dance gear rather than an actual clothing item we want to reproduce. But I will check into it. Thanks again

You'll probably think I'm a dickhead for saying this but I needed some stuff done for this new toyline I'm doing so I just found a professional seamstress in the yellow pages and she was going to do it cheap. She could do pretty much anything you showed her in any style since she did movie costumes for stuff like LOtR.
