That seriously doesn't look like Ragon....I'm going back for another look! He def looks funky. I generally don't just buy "everything" I like when it comes to toys, they have to grab me...that grabs me.

Thanks everyone! I still can't believe it is real! I can only imagine how Joel and Greg felt when they were all sitting in front of them... The Terracotta Army?

He's actually seven(!) separate pieces -- Very surprising for a toy his size. crazy talk! i would've been happy with three. does it allow him to be more poseable & playable? or does it seem like it's just out of necessity? I don't even think it's out of necessity, haha. The legs, tail and head (I didn't even notice that was a separate part until I was typing that last post -- actually edited 'six' to 'seven') could have easily been non-articulated. Very strange, but I guess that's fitting for a group with such character.

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
^^^ An interesting and oft overlooked aspect about all of those NH Ultraminis and most of their standard scale Ultrakaiju is that they are actually vinyl casts of old Marusan snap-model kits from '66. Not sure if that helps explain the seemingly indulgent number of parts involved in the minis (Garamon is a 5-parter) but it might!
Glad to see that you've lifted your ban on minis with such gusto!

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
That's very cool -- I think I had read something about that at some point, but had definitely forgotten. I did notice the SAN stamp and thought that was kind of odd, so that explains it. They've all got 'seams,' especially noticeable on Gary, on their sides where you can tell the kit pieces snapped together. And yes, the mini ban has been mightily lifted! I would have turned that one around and said "What do YOU think the deal is with my space banana?"
