 Tricycles
It has been a while since I have been able to upload stuff, SDCC, new store, etc. keeping me busy, but I got a chance to finally get the pics of some of the trikes this weekend that were asked for earlier on. This is not all of them, but a pretty good chunk. akumaizer in two sizes l to r: silver kamen legit version, bootleg on tin trike, bootleg on plastic trike Larger scale trikes for Super Robots. UFO Grandizer, Getta Dragun, Reideen, Geag Larger scale Robocon, mid scale Astro Boy (why does he have a black nose?), small scale Hacchan Kamen Rider V3, kamen Rider1, Kamen Rider1 bootleg Mirrorman, Spectreman, Lion Maru and a fan made bootleg Condorman Barom-1 and a fan made bootleg Inazuman Robots. Who cares about guys like this but Sjoen? Tekkaman, Spelban and GroizerX - I love the balloons! Ultraman Joe, Andros Melos, Ultraman Leo Pink and blue Gorangers, I never can remember which versions I have, thus the missing three. A bunch of bootleg Tiger Mask Great Mazinger and Getta Robo

 Re: Tricycles
Nice Tiger mask bootlegs!
What's the story behind these? I'm guessing they aren't based on any TV scene, just a way too sell character toys to a younger audience. You have to wonder what the target age for these would have been. 4 or 5?

 Re: Tricycles
These are absolutely killer! Trikes are some of my favorite toy designs - so crazy!! The Zambot and friends, and the Big Dai X in the next photo are amazing. Thanks for throwing these up.

 Re: Tricycles
The Spielban w/ the baloon is simply sublime... who would of thought a Space Sheriff would have his most daring adventures not on his ship, but on a trike!!

 Re: Tricycles
That Zanbot IS killer! It looks like his right hand is extended in the "CHARGE!!" pose...leading Daiojya and Tryder G7 into battle. And, yes, Brian: there are some of us TBDX misfits who like robots too around here! My favorite's gotta be the Big Dai X (not Groizer) in the next pic: he's sad because he has no balloon (and because you can't remember his name! )!

 Re: Tricycles
Here's my contribution. They're trikes, but not the pedal kind. They're toys of motorized ones (some of my favorite toys I own):

 Re: Tricycles
Totally random, but why the fuck is Nyarome stuff so expensive? Is it because Tensai Bakabon is so OG that the collectors who are on it have loot? Fujio Akatsuka is seemingly popular but Osomatsu-kun for example gets NO love.. Nyarome is featured in that story as well. As opposed to FujikoFujio's shit, it's almost cult like price wise.. Any thoughts?

 Re: Tricycles
Nyarome is only a bit character in mo-retsu ataro its from the mid 60's but in my opinion is he's the lexicon of japanese "gag strip" manga art design. if you see how many products have been made with Nyarome on them its quite astonishing . From soda to camera timers to fish hooks and high end fashion sweaters. I believe he is perhaps the most recognizable underground old school bit character for people in japan. The old stuff is very rare and sought after. Im sure his popularity, great design, large fan base in combination with very few truly old pieces for sale makes for a deadly combo.

 Re: Tricycles
Not a "Tricycle" but definitely a vintage STEAL at $12.97 BIN! The tires look similar to the ones from the Henshin Cyborg Cycle Rider, only smaller.

 Re: Tricycles
Since Brian's original pics have dissapeared into the internet netherworld, I thought I would share this sweet 'UFO' Grendizer one by Robin from a recent sale. Not mine, but I wish it could have been.
