Yeah, that's a sweet guitar! Always loved the SG Standard (and the '61...love the smaller pick guard). The fretboard binding and trapezoidal inlays really set the higher-end Gibsons apart from the rest. And I love the sunburst, rather than just the standard cherry (or black) finish.

After spending money on toys for so long, it's funny to realize what else you can buy for the price of a Nag or a Pushead handpaint.

I know, huh? It's crazy. Would I rather have an awesome, beautiful, and useful product that's universally recognized and valued, or a hunk of thousand dollar plastic that only a small handful of people in the world recognize as having any value?
I don't spend that much on toys to begin with, but even on my $100 toys I sometimes think that I'd be better off putting that money towards a vintage amp.

Glad I got my Sunn Model T for next to nothing back in the 80s when people weren't interested in them at the time.

Great scores LD.
Do you have any of the Bullmark ones? Love the packaging on those.

It was sold like that. I need to find a Creature head for it, but I don't mind the Bozo head for the time being :)
