I've found I can do without gloves, but fingers are EXTREEMELY useful - they can be used to place vinyl figures, open their bags and remove header cards, and to press the pay button on paypal..a lot.

The gloves aren't bad (and they make a nice spot for an S and a 7 to go!), however, I prefer the fingered figures because they look cooler.

Wow, I thought it might be kinda split, maybe leaning towards gloves, but most people are down with the fingers.
I myself prefer the gloves. But I dig the fingers on the Skulletor set (but I would like to have seen what gloved versions would look like).

Just looking at the fingers on the Balzac and now the Mask Ranger Damaged - Fingers! Especially with the Skelly hand paint mask! They look like little chili peppers!

actually, my favorite is hook!
the skull pirate is my favorite sculpt by far... although it is significantly different than the others.
i voted gloves... although they risk getting damaged easier.
