Re: New Dream Rocket & Max Toy discussion
This thread is weird at this point. I know they're friends, but shouldn't Dream Rocket and Max Toy have separate threads? Just a thought. I really love the forthcoming DR Cobra Man.

Thanks for posting those pics, chimply...I hadn't seen that yet. I was actually just gonna post, myself, about Zanga to see what people thought of it...

I like it. It's classically over-the-top. Bought an unpainted brown version.

Can't tell if I like it or not. Kinda reminds me of early 2000s Power Ranger toys.

Re: New Dream Rocket & Max Toy discussion
There's so much I personally don't like about it. Even with that being said, I can still definitely appreciate it. You can tell that there was a lot of time invested in sculpting such a behemoth and a lot of technical precision handling a sculpt with something like ten or eleven articulated pieces. I can see its appeal, it's just not something I could picture on my shelves but I'm also crazy picky. Still looking forward to seeing how Cobra Man turns out!

Re: New Dream Rocket & Max Toy discussion
I should probably clarify that by 'classically over-the-top' I was thinking of the 90's. Reminds me of Destroyah.

Re: New Dream Rocket & Max Toy discussion
Zanga is impressive. It has a lot of articulation for a sofubi toy and the sculpt work is great (as expected). That said, the thing is just so huge and so busy. I think some people will be really into it, but for me, there's just possibly too much going on with this one.

I like it, but man that's a lot of shelf space. That picture where Mark is holding it, crazy.

Re: New Dream Rocket & Max Toy discussion
It's pretty cool and very nicely done, I just don't have room for it.
I'm also looking forward to the cobra man, and am liking the max toy/frenzy collabs.

Re: New Dream Rocket & Max Toy discussion
They've extended the preorder till Sept 3rd, so still time to think about getting a Zanga. Think he'll be my first "big" vinyl purchase, both monetarily and literally.

Re: New Dream Rocket & Max Toy discussion
My unpainted brown version arrived. I was not prepared for how large it really is.
I'm still a Fresh Meat to sofubi, but he's easily the biggest I've ever seen. Probably not as big as the Bullmark Giants though.

Re: New Dream Rocket & Max Toy discussion
He's ~ 13" in every dimension. It doesn't sound huge, but the mass of this guy is incredible. He's the size of my torso (not a good comparison, I am a very tiny man).
