the green polka dot is 1/1. its from the 6th hp series that was released sometime last year. although sadly, none made it for public sale.
the first 5 series, including the 1st gid run of bemons were all one-off hp. there were 30 of them in each series.
after the one-off series came all the 10/10 or 20/20 fp series for several years until that 6th hp series pop out from nowhere last year. therefore including the run of 20 one-off in the 'GID Sample' series, there are 200 one-offs that are officially catalouged in the posters.
apart from these these, there are also store displays, insider gifts that are one-off hp, although very few of them.
hence there are not too few cool hp bemon out there!

But the good ones dun appear enuff for me to snag one arghhhhhh .

Thanks for this, much obliged: for some reason I was convinced that the GID run was one of the first (if not THE first hp run).
And I never realized that those HP runs last year were one offs (I thought they were limited edition hps, 10/10 et cetera).

So much that I will never own.

More than 50% of those HPs is just to die for.

the gid run was indeed the 1st hp run that was sold publicly.
technically the 'sample gid series' is the 1st bemon run, but none of them were ever sold publicly so that don't count.
series 2,3,4,5 hps followed quite closely after the 1st gid and were not too tough to get back then.

The headers look so nice with each bemon.

And weren't they all 8,000 yen each? It's amazing how much retail prices have jumped in the past 5+ years.

But isn't this true of most things generally, 5 years ago things were so much cheaper and it wasn't sustainable

They really do..And I often wonder where they ended up.

Well, I know of at least three that are on the board. One was actually on sale or trade (not sure which of the two) not a long while ago.
That blue / yellow / magenta one with black dots is simply stunning, looks great.

I don't know, but I wish it was on my shelf.

Even though I don't, and might never, own one of these gems, I still get a huge thrill of looking at all the pics. Thanks for collecting all the images plover. If ever I was in CKA and had to look at that display in person, I think my brain would explode trying to pick one. Seriously, that is the kind of decision no toy nerd should ever have to make.
