Post Re: Favorite shelf
Thanks Ralph. I came prepared with full-on snow gear, and Terrell joined me with just his favorite jeans and a leather jacket.
At about midnight it started to snow pretty heavily and at one point we were pretty buried under the tarp.
And the awesome Chicago locals kept coming up to us offering food and blankets and jackets, it was pretty heart-warming.
I remember at one point while under the tarp, Terrell, managing to pull his hands out from his pocket warmers just long enough to
give me a sustained middle finger for talking him into camping out. But the whole show and experience was so worth it, and I would
do it again in a heartbeat.

It'd be awesome if we could get the Garg crew back here. Even as a snow hardened native I'd hope for it to be in a fairer month.

I third the idea. Perhaps a nicely timed email to Rotofugi and the Gargamel gang is in order.

Could you guys ever see Gargamel heading Stateside for Designer-Con?

I'd love to see them on the West Coast, without having to hustle to San Diego.

Ha! fair enough.

I have to say, seeing those Chicago pics, there's something very romantic about the idea of waiting in the snow in Antarctic-survival gear just to get a early shot at some G. That's some expedition-level shit right there.

^ Thank you Kevin, Bart and Gian! I love the classic black & white Skullman, but how can I resist those killer colors on Japanese clear vinyl? And the Balzac DVDs are packed with videos, live performances and world tour documentaries.

I've been reorganizing my shelves this weekend and this is currently my favorite...or a slightly cropped in version of it.

Thanks everyone. I'm pretty stoked on my collection right now, it's taken some time to get it where I want it(living in la has certainly helped).

Gian I'll have to have you and a few others over some time. Admission is cheap

Yes, it's from 1 of the TxT shows(Biskup and T9G). The mash up works really well for me. Here's a pic of it from the show. James has the 1 next to it which I'm kinda jealous of.
