This.
I take this back actually. I have just been informed about what kind of person Alice is. There is definitely no place on the boards for the kind of language and comments he has made. Excuse me for my ignorance.

Nahhh I'm just not a passive aggressive guy, very direct that's all. I mean really if you think I'm a dick just say it. Don't say people who use the roll your eyes symbol come across as dicks right after I use one. I mean I don't care who thinks I'm asshole or a dick on this board but at least I'll appreciate the honest response.
ha ha. i didn't even realize you had just used one above me!
Wasn't singling you out at all man, just thinking of all the times i've come across it.

I don't really have a problem with any more than other emoticons; it is no worse or better. As much as I might battle and rally against it, the modern technological times, and emoticons like are just part the culture now. But where I do see a use for , particularly, on Skullbrain is that there seem to be a lot of people who do not get sarcasm even when it is blatant, wherein might come in handy. Then again, maybe not.
But if I am to declare war on anything, it is going to be the use of the word "sick," to denote anything other than illness, and whatever the hip young generation is using for these days. Yes, if you are someone that says it, writes it, thinks it, then I am against you.

Re: Where's the Beef?
The two words that have been ruined for me by modern times are 'amazing' and 'awesome'. Try reading anything online or watching anything on TV and you will see these two adjectives being used over an over endlessly. Everything can't be amazing or awesome. Some other words must be used. Oh and as a side note if I hear one more college kid use 'like' when describing every aspect of their mundane lives I'm going postal.
