It's a good deal because if you win the lottery you don't have to worry about buying the art you want from a flipper. I can't even remember the last time I saw a recent nag on the bay, but I don't check that often.

More awful art market stuff

Things could get real expensive if Mondo flippers and other KR people get into it. The poster market is on the decline and they have pretty big bankrolls. Olly Moss stuff is going crazy cheap. Kaws toy buyers aren't gonna be able to upgrade to Kaws art when he moves on, and that money is gonna be spent elsewhere and likely on other big ticket items. People early to 3A, having spent big money and are cashing out now on KR and eBay, are moving on too.

And this is why I hate you art toy people.
Its not collecting when you cash out after the cool factor wears off Glenn Pogue.

Lots of tastes change, I dunno if all the Pogue stuff I've read compares to people moving on and liking other things

That defines fashion and being trendy.
Which what most people around here buying into the hype are, hipsters of a different breed.
Collecting takes time passion and commitment.
I feel like we could use some more collectors around here.

The thing is, I would bet a million dollars that once the hype as "art" dies down there will probably be larger production runs at lower prices marketed to people who like toys, not "art", making NAG more accessible to people like me, who don't hate NAG objectively, but looking to pay around $150.00 for one, hugely depreciating all these micro releases that are seen as rare and bought by people who HAVE to have one right now and will pay unacceptable prices for them. Remember when people were paying $500.00 for rare Real X Head? I do.

I dont know the first thing about Nags. So its simple for me to say this, how can something so ugly thats made just to fund movies be considered art?

Its comparable to someone on Kickstarter offering you a sticker to help fund a movie. Its fine, but dont tell me its art and not give me a reach around at the same time.

I have never solicited a sex worker, but I can't imagine a handy-J costs all that much... even with a free one a Nag would still be overpriced.
