I'm wondering what the scene at Kozik's studio is going to be like. Will several people show up with $850 cash at the ready and then have to submit to a live on-site lottery? If so I guess that eliminates the conspiracy theories about rigged lotteries and playing favorites, at least for the purpose of this sale but it also seems possible that not many will show up given what appears to be a general lack of enthusiasm for Nags in the Bay Area. Whatever the case, if you go, keep your dollars close to the vest, so to speak. Probably not a good idea to be walking around with that kind of cash coin, especially given that the cash-only stipulation was broadcast on the 'net. You don't want Sam showing up with a weapon or matted bangs or whatever.

It is hard to tell the detail from those pics (and them being unpainted) but they definitely look much more cartoony/cutesy than the OG head. I think for a lot of people the original appeal was the crudeness of the Caveman, so I am not sure. You can see now though where the J. Ryan art is coming from more though. I wonder where this new direction came from, it kind of was there with the later doll eyes I suppose, and then the eyelashes, but really it was the Tara Nag (and art) that might have set it off.
