This increased release schedule must be Hiddy's plan to be able to staff the Secret Base store with more cute young women. :D

i hope not...it may burn me out on SB by making it them seem too much like a greedy western vinyl company not the trendsetting inovator they started as.

You will see all the Neo Kaijus co's increasing production over the winter.

I imagine 20-30 new variants a month combined will be normal.

its not greed, its called 'reality'. Businesses, all businesses, exist in order make profit and achieve status. Japan, especially. The lines there are completely blurred.

Japanese toys only seem 'artistic' because it has traditionally been difficult to obtain them. That is no longr the case, new markets have opened and now those markets will be utilized.

I'm glad I only collect SkullBrains - and I'm not a completist on them! Halloween has been pretty easy on me!
This sort of release schedule would truly suck for completists - especially for those that collect multiple lines

I think only a few people will be able to get it all. Maybe no one.

I love SB but don't go or every colourway and some figs I dont even like, I am not rich enough to buy everything ! So I get the figures I really want and that is it, for me it's not like i must own every figure for me it's about having figures i really love in my collection , who has that kind of money to drop for like 20 figs a month ! Not me !!
maybe when my t shirt business really takes off .....but not for now.

do toys for the money if it works for u but
trying to make "collectors" think this is only

what is the point of all of this ?

This two SB production piece are only an old project that becoming reality...this collaboration was not made in one day , lot of work and discussion are between this.
Artoyz's owners had a really true love for vinyl, eastern western ....however the vinyl came from if it's a good piece of vinyl !
At this moment I think they are just happy to have a collaboration with SB and for me , french collector , it's a really great news !

just for information, the little golden head is the mascot/logo of the shop.

and just for for my personal culture , what is usually the rate of SB figure ?
50 - 100 ?

Super7 has been selling them between $50 and $65. If you look at 20 figs a month that is between $1000 and $1500. That is some good rent or house payment!

SB has put me in a cardboard box but I have all the other vinyl in my guest house box!

I doubt the release is very low. The usual run would be 300 to 500. Lower production cost will result to higher $$.

OK. please give me some examples of companies that make 'collectible'things that do it for reasons other than profit and status.
