I got these yesterday. I´m surprised how dime-store-cheap they look. (I tried searching for Big Eye here, but nothing comes up...) :( And the GID has dark spots that I´m not sure what to think of... :?

The yellow one comes from from a tiny shop called バーニングTOYS that I´m mentioning because the owner was nice and hoped for more foreign traffic.

^^^ Very cool . . . those two colorways look great together too!

Big Eye is such a willfully strange design I love it . . . . I have a different GID version

and the Bear Model mid-size.

Wow, amazing scores on those Big Eyes. If you are not feeling 100% on them, let me know, I have been hunting the yellow one for years. I have to agree that this is one of the coolest kaiju for me, so bizarre and fun.

Had no idea the resin thrashman was smaller than the micro version. They all look good together.

I wouldn't be too disappointed. These are cast from the ORIGINAL mold (Nuances of this Mirrorman series mold's age, such as the crack on King Satan's face) and they don't turn up often.

I really love that Thrashman trio. Each one of the sculpts is so different and has its own fun character. I also really like the difference in size and proportions when you put them together like that. There is no way I would be able to pick a favourite from that set. Looking forward to seeing your complete Thrashie family soon!

^^ Excellent point Paul. The same is true of many of the Bullmark repros from B-Club or M1. I think it actually lends a lot to the authenticity that they did not try to 'touch up' the molds, and I really like seeing little effects like this, reminds me of the work someone did to sculpt these figures by hand.

As long as you dont do the reverse with these it's all good. I think we all can agree that the more base that belongs to one the better.

I'd have to be on the verge of living on the streets to rid these, dude. I've been wanting more Secret Base for a couple years, but my lack of education and knowledge of kaiju halted purchases. I couldn't help but equate the size of a toy to its price, instead of the creation process and care that goes into each piece. In my mind, it was "Why should I drop $65 on this 4" fighter when for $10 more I can get this 8" shenanigans?" Now I'm like G.I. Joe: I know, and knowing is half the battle.
