As much as i want one of these guys, please refrain from buying form these bitches from ebay & yjp!!! these flippers are jacking the prices by bidding in their own auctions!!! esp those on YJP!

I like the part about, "We have our staff lined up for 2 days to get these figures."
Staff? Of flippers!
That's right, I burned 'em.

yeah.. it's like, if most of the people that bought one at OF and BxH were collectors that do not flip... you'd have to pay way more if u really want one... gives me mixed feelings sometimes

a figure that sells at the store one day for $70, then is put up on ebay or yahoo at $400 is such a great thing??
I can understand a flip to get the figure to the collector for some extra money, but come on?? Who sets that price and isn't that a little high?? From what I've seen Yahoo at least lets the auction run it's course, but ebay has a bunch of huge ass prices of buy it now I think it sucks!!

no it is not a good thing.. i'm just saying, if the only way for people in the U.S. is to get it thru the secondary market, it is ideal that most of the people who buy it for retail are flippers so there is a greater secondary market supply.
On the otherhand, I guess the best situation would be no flippers & OF doesn't sell out immediately, giving time to find connections and getting it at close to retail.... but that doesn't seem realistic anymore.

I cant fly to Tokyo and wait in line for a day twice a month.
YJA flipperage is way cheaper and less bothersome.

Frank I get the impression you either love spending $400, or you own a piece of the flip business??

I dont flip. Other than my big sell-off last year ( which I did here, not ebay)in order to buy a race bike, i rarely sell stuff, unless it is my own product. I collect. I have about 2000 toys right now.
dusting is a I FART A LOT.
check ebay...I havent sold on there for like, 2 years.

Relax man, it was more of a joke! I just hate to see a lot of the board members that can't afford it having to sell their souls to come up with $400 for a figure, that went on sale the same day for $70.

Yes, I agree, It TOTALLY sucks we cant get those for the 'real price'...but, thats the price to pay for 'elite boutique shit' when you dont have direct access.
I used to haunt the kawsone site, and got most of it there for the real price but lately I have gotten lazy.
do I wish the re was a kaws store right next door? hell yes...but there isnt.
it sucks, but...thats life.

Now it seems like anything BxH and Kaws puts out is only going to get harder and harder to get.
OriginalFake has a good system in place to get people in and out of the store. BxH on the other hand SUCKS!! They are really shaddy and I fully believe they are in with the flip. I've seen it with my own eyes
