The end result of this is prices going up, it seems like a lose lose situation unless they give up early.

Well, that's usually the end result of any auction. But usually they don't give up and that's what I meant. I'm thinking it's really about how interested they are in buying something, because it's not really about us being able to compete with them. No interest in getting higher prices, only in toys being won by SB, that's all.

I'm not good at expressing myself and I was trying to make a different point so excuse me if I sounded rude. I'm tired and won't go into this anymore.

Oh! don't sweat it Dennis I didn't think you were rude at all! I hope I didn't come across as rude either. I just meant I prefer us having the toys, rather than oku***

From that other site:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-ultra-a ... true&rt=nc

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jumbo-Vintage-m ... true&rt=nc

Two sweet toys, especially that removable mask Ultra Ace. Man I want one of those so bad for some reason! Good score for whoever got either one (Mirrorman was a little rugged).

Yeah decent prices on two very nice figures. Considering what you have to pay with fees and such when you can find them, I would have been in on these if I could have. Removable masks are always great, and of course in large size even better.

Yeah, that was a crazy auction too, I would have been down for the android man too, the Hakaida is just a bonus at that point.

You know those toys that you see, and immediately fall in love with? I mean head-over-heels, this is perfect in so many ways, I can't find any faults love? Well this is one of those for me. A vintage Takatoku Ultraman Leo sparker:

Just look at that face!!

And, as if that was not tortuous enough, the same seller also had a Bullmark missile-firing Leo:

And of course oku** grabbed both.

Both fantastic ... the missile firing Leo price is not too bad considering he has his box and looks pretty minty.

I was watching that one too. I like the color scheme on it more than the common one. Guess that's probably why the price was so high, well that and it's good shape with all the parts.

No question that guy is a real beauty, and I am glad to know now that it wasn't just a proto after all, even if they still are hen's teeth. I think I slightly prefer the regular colour version, but that might just be something I tell myself to keep me warm on those cold, lonely night.

The price doesn't actually seem that outrageous to me, and given that he has all his missiles, is something I would have considered, were I that kind of bidder.

Speaking of bargains, in my incessant hunting around for Ultrasevens I came across this (sadly) ended auction. :|

Don't know how or why I missed that, but it was making me incredibly sad. Someone seems to have gotten an amazing deal by all appearances. Lixx, where were you?! For some reason though it is just that the end price isn't properly showing up (21,500 円). Anyways, that is some amazing artwork - I would love to see the backer out of the package.

That capsule robo is beautiful! Worth every yen from my perspective. For such a rare toy it seems to me like a fair price.
