It does look tiki like, but I think that's why I like it. Universal monsters and tiki fit pretty well so it seems.

I like the muted tone, but would love to see some garish paint apps on these guys.

yeah, i get what you mean. i guess i was expecting a cool, gangly frankensteins monster as opposed to this weird, squatty, alien arm thing. i too would like to see some garish paint on this toy, but ill probably be sitting out on all releases.

My initial reaction is that this Frankenstein Monster seems a bit cartoonish, or "Rat Finkish" so it does't seem to mesh well with all the other "B" movie monster styles in the series.

I feel this is suffering the same issue with the poorly proportioned body we are seeing on a lot of these recent two-headed figs. They need to retool to make a larger torso, not just add extra heads - at least I think it looks better with a bulky frame.

Could not agree more. Seems like there is some great detail on the heads but the bodies are just plain awkward. I for one am getting a bit tired of the two head/three head sculpts. They are cool and a lot of work goes into them but it's a little repetitive.
