Very happy to receive this today..... Also received a bunch of Japanese kaijyu movie posters today. The highlight out of the bunch was the original Gappa movie posters.

Wow! Those two look fantastic! I'd love to be able to hang out and watch one of the Three Tides artists do up one of these Obakes.

Got this GID Tripus through the other day, loved the figure but it had received this pretty bad crack in the mail FYI to any UK collectors - thehanggang.co.uk are really good with the customer service, they gave me a full refund after I explained and sent him back.

^^ So torn about this toy. When I first saw it on the exohead blog I was blown away. It's so rad however I'm not sold on the neck and body.

I love the body, but after a couple of tries, I can't deal with the neck and head. Totally creeps me out. Weird. Anyway, i got this in the mail today. after mailing every store i could think of , and getting a bunch of no's - a good guy in the local toy scene came through. THANK YOU. Not for everyone on here, but hardly standard Western vinyl output, James Jarvis is a super nice guy and produces some of my favorite NON-jp vinyl. Behold, the God of Animation:

APsychoCareBear wrote: It's a Dream Rocket Jakou Yep, what he said. I've actually seen 3 spellings of the name for this guy. Jakou, Jacaou, and when I translated from Japanese text to English on Google it spelled it as Jacquot, but that could just be a translation error. I also love this guy. I've seen other painted versions before, but this one is by far my favorite. The colors are so vivid and wild. I think that is what drew me to it the most. It is different from pretty much everything else in my collection.
