not anything related but ive been on a memory lane toy kcik picking up the power rangers megazord and dragon zord. Just bought the thunder megazord on ebay

One of my favorite things about the alavaka i got is def the scroll.the whole back story of the toy is written on it.

Does the Alavaka have articulation? or is it just one piece?

Looks good, not my cup of tea, but it definitely looks well produced.

The Alavaka has one point of articulation in the head. I love the blood spatter on the mouth.

Great painted set of the Blobpus minis, particularly the kaijin-style Blobpus in suits. I love the plastic bento tray packaging too.

Sushi tray. I think he got the idea from Yamomark at a Design Festa.

Completely random tangential note: It is possible to get some types of vegetarian sushi in Japan. Very nice with fresh thin ginger slices.

Dont forget imitation crab, that stuff is totally good to go if its the right brand.

Yikes after eating my share of fake meat in Taiwan, I tend to avoid stuff like that.

Bitterpill, I love those Blobpus minis. I bought a set from Rampage Toys when they had their Blobpus x Splurrt show. Just realized I never posted them.

I usually can't stand keeping toys packaged and open everything immediately, but these little guys might just stay in their package.

Wow I need a set of those blobpus minis. I love the paint on the 2 sets from the foestore..were there only 2 sets or just 2 choices?

Not sure. All I ever saw on the site was 'minis set A' & 'minis set B'. I emailed the store after my order to ask if they would ship immediately or if they were on display for the show, and he said they had "several sets of each, and would ship out the next day"

It might be glow vinyl but it is totally painted over. The Salary Blob on the right also has a mint body but glow head, you can see his little tentacle hands aren't painted.

Rampage Toys also had a few different versions when they had them.

^ Cool. Must be standard for how he serves up these mini sets. The red/black/yellow Doku from my set is completely painted, and the green suit salaryblob has a completely painted head with a glow body.

Aww, thank you. Haha. Yeah, I'm still recovering for that purchase... You know what sucks though, I think I paid 8$ shipping and it came in a small padded envelope that was under 4$(whereas the Shikaruna came in a large box, and much quicker than the Uamou (thanks Lixx)) ..still awesome to have though!!

My asshole collection would have loved it.
