It has LA/Kaijooz written all over it - and the black and gold colours are not helping it in the slightest. Oh well, at least they look pretty tiny, so you know you are getting a lot of bang for your buck ....oh, wait.... but, fancy art box guys!!! I guess Im the only one that is enjoying it. Animator Im sure saw it in person, so did I and I love it. Its nice and hefty in person and the light reflects off the sculpt nicely.

Instictoy seems to get 'inspired' a lot by other artists. I remember their T9Gish bear. Especially the face on the back resembles T9G's logo. http://skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=22345I think the similarities to the Tyranno Ju are no accident.

Congrats to all the lucky winners and a big FU to the flippers! I have been slacking off on the database for almost a year! Database has been update today. All the broken pictures I have corrected the BCCode that flickr changed. Only database not added yet are the smaller size Gorilla-jyu and Mecha Gorilla-jyu which I may do at a much later time. If I am missing something or information needs to be correct then send me a pm. Thanks!

Wholeheartedly fifty tentacles way up for that shot TK!! What a superb display set. It all fits together so wonderfully. There are so many there I can't identify, but I am especially keen to know what the two mini dioramas of the destructed Tokyo Tower are.

Thanks guys! The broken towers are from Marmit, not exactly sure from what set though

Oh well, at least they look pretty tiny, so you know you are getting a lot of bang for your buck ....oh, wait.... but, fancy art box guys!!! Seeing it in person - its is super similar to TJ. It looks like the original was used as a base and then added to with various bits of ..errr...bumpiness. Id like to compare the two up close to see if proportions are indeed the same. A shame, as they have some other cool items - even if most of the bigger pieces do look T9Gish with some Touma thrown in. I was pretty stoked on the pumpkin headed bear which lights up via remote control! I decided to pass however. And, its certainly not from LA - InstinctToys are Japan based and owned, and came over from there for DCon.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
Sorry, guess I did misinterpret/underestimate the size of these guys then, not that that ends up really changing my view on them. Which is fine, I have no problem with people liking what they like. And I apologise if it seemed like I thought lesser of Instinctoy or anything, I did read they were from Japan, but simply being Japanese doesn't warrant an aesthetic pass in my books, anymore than the revers is true for American makers. I just meant I got the whole 'urban' style feel from it, that was just making me think of the LA Kaiju Klub, or whatever the hell it was called. Sorry, I am just tired and grumpy, ignore my gripes and I'll grab some milk and cookies before my nap. Carry on with HS discussion.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
I was trying to make sense from the translation too! There should be an unpainted release – this yellow, the clear Ju, GID MG2 and the flesh Tyranno look great naked! No doubt there are more hidden out there...

Purple Toys. Let's go ahead and not hype them up though, I want to be able to get some.
