^ Not much of an R×H fan, but pieces like that may turn me into one yet. Pretty damn amazing.

I don't think it's that there's anything wrong with RxH(there isn't), more that he's got his own formulated opinion and taste on what he does and doesn't find aesthetically pleasing. Much like your distaste for the over hyped toys in the American Idols section.

Umm, sorry, 80% of my kaiju collection is composed of toys designed, sculpted, produced and painted in Japan. Those are the artists that attracted me to the hobby in the first place. And the "American Idols" that I collect are every bit as talented and collaborate with makers like RxH, so go pass judgement somewhere else. I was giving badteethcomics a compliment on his awesome toy.

He recently did a kickstarter that was fully funded and then some for a 2nd hardcover compilation. It had a short new FC story in it.

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
Yeah, it was a lot more than I thought. Probably jacked my shipping up a lot... But hey, the lot was cheap! The plan was to display some and have the kids play with most. They've already started playing with them, so who knows what happens... I have dozens and dozens of the gacha SDs (first toys I collected, back in the day). They love those as well. I'm partial to the clear ones and the minis myself... And with the Sunshines, of course!

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
Those clear ones are nifty! They almost look eatable! I suppose you could use the extras as stocking stuffers or mini fun bags... http://s21.postimg.org/nkp1hpwon/PRINT_Wrap_CS5.jpgPrint on 8.5x11 size page, then cut out, fold in half, tape the edges, then instant fun bags! Each page contains 2 sizes of fun bags

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
That'd be fun! If only it didn't imply way more time than I have! Plus, I really don't know anyone who'd be interested...

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
That's a beaut. I'm obsessed with RxH right now. I wasn't really into the designs until I saw them in person at Rotofugi back when. It's funny what seeing the figure in person will do. I was struck by the scale of them. I think I had been expecting the smaller figures and couldn't believe how large they looked in comparison to everything else on the shelf.

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
And I fully agree with you on that point. I'm just not seeing where you seem to think he's into overhyped toys, simply because he mentioned not being a RxH fan, that's all.
