Pic posted for enjoyment NOT judgement!
Friends hooking-up and helping out friends is the coolest aspect of this 'hobby!'

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
Hirota can manage to do everthing like what he wants here and it's cool to help friends , I know.
But this friend gets both with the tag has the serial-number #1 and #3. If you know where this pic comes from, you know what I mean and, therefore,I don't think "most likely" he made extras now.
And Hirota announced like he made these unpainted King Gorila-ju a lot along with the requests from many fans in this time on his blog, so I believe this release is for his fans who don't get the luck to buy it still mainly.
I don't know how was going on behind but IF hirota makes 40 -1 and 30 -1, it's not fair, I feel. Anyways, I'm looking forward to his next release.

It absolutely is completely fair of him to make however many he makes, and then gift them however he wants. He could make 90 of them and give 89 to friends and sell 1, and it would still be fair.

Fair schmair. He made them and he can do whatever the fuck he wants with them.
Even though I didn't come up lucky with this lotto, I'm glad that I still have the chance to enter. At least it isn't a closed list.

By the way, I don't intend to show "disrespectful" thought on his business or created stuffs, so I want to make it clear here and sorry for my poor english for that. Anyways, congrats the winners!

Nice omake Rich! So far it looks like all of them are different(Maybe a way to figure out who keeps what).

Nice marble on that rich! I like HS's marble, very subtle yet still impressive. Thanks to everyone who has posted pics for us to enjoy. As always, more are always welcome.

I'm thinking a way to track them as well. As for vinyl, I'm thinking it's test pulls for experiment and possible releases. It's much easier and cheaper to test pull an omake size toy then full size fig. Build up a surplus of these and use them as omake. Other companies do this for lucky bags. But like you it's just speculation. If I had my own way to pull vinyl like he does, I would be trying all sorts of tests to see what looks best and how to perfect it.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
I am completely with James on this one. Hirota can make the next five releases all for his friends only, and I would still think it is amazing. Why shouldn't he hook up people he knows with the products of his craft, it is the same as anything else. Plus, at least you know they will be going to people who it means something to and have a connection with the toy. That is more important than appeasing any whiny toy nerds (and potential flippers) any day of the week.
I think the omakes have been a bit of extra tracking method, to see at least roughly, what ended up where, since flippers were covering the numbers. I don't think he necessarily made individual ones for each, but there are definite variants among them. Of course now, a lot it takes place surreptitiously without any photos, but there is nothing anyone can do about that.
Love your little alien rich, what a superb bonus on an already great mail day. Congrats again!

Rich beautiful Omake. looks freaking awesome.
Hirota makes amazing product, he's fair of the way he distributes it too I think. I think we should all be happy that its not a closed list, and we have a chance at owning his work at a comfortable retail price, rather than a $5-800 price tag.

I was told the painted omake(s) are all 1/1. Each one is painted different... is this true?

I don't think so, these omakes aren't painted they are all unpainted, but in the past I think most of the omakes have shared the same paint or maybe there are a few versions with the missles.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
The omake for this King of Gorilla-jyu release though true they are unpainted there seems to be a lot of different color vinyl version for each figure. We already have seen dark olive drab, orange, clear green with glitter, light blue, a marble, and who knows what else.

Seeing the unpainted black one at nycc was insane, so bummed I missed this. And the omakes are rad too.
Love that orange vinyl! It would look good with the blue.

^ I was thinking the same thing. That orange with the blue gorilla would look stunning.
