Thought I would share this new crawling dragging skeleton figure. Kind of inspired by the Ma-ba zombies. I liked how they mostly were a head, arms, and half a torso. Why do you need legs? He will be Cadaver Kids new pal.

Kind of reminds me of the awesome Skeleton boss from one of the Castlevania games.
Or that skeleton yokai?

This looks absolutely fantastic. Very determined to make this my first Splurrt figure. Love the guts at the bottom, the fact that he reminds me of Castlevania and the relatively unusual canvas might throw up some really interesting paint apps. Keep going man.

Thanks guys, it will be vinyl or bust.

I think this sculpt is engineered for vintage like spray applications, and for all those new crazy paints the kids are all doing. I am really looking forward to playing with colors and paints and think up first I might try some neon pink or green vinyl.

I support neon pink!!! Would the green be neon as well? I'd support that too. Great sculpt by the way! Really freshening up the hobby with some interesting ideas. Keep up the good work Joe.

what's this guy's backstory? what happened to his jaw? will his lonely lower half be making an appearance as a separate toy?

it needs more guts trailing behind him :D

8) Are you telling me reanimated skeletons missing their entire lower half need to have the jaw? Just a design aesthetic I chose to go with. I'm planning on creating more skeleton heads in the future- I'm sure jaws will come at some point. I'm not planning a lower half, with the bent arms and guts spilling out this guy isn't engineered for legs. It would be better just to do a separate standing skeleton. Just have to enjoy it for what it is. 99% of toys have legs, how many toys out there crawl and drag their guts?

Here's a brief wip backstory . Name and backstory aren't final yet. Diggler is Cadaver Kid's pet and this skeleton is Cadaver Kid's only friend. None of the normal kids can stand to hang out with CK because he was dead and smells terrible. The Skeleton is actually more than Cadaver Kid's friend, he's Cadaver Kid's departed older brother. He also loves Diggler, and let's him gnaw on and play fetch with his bones. He is a lost soul who refuses to leave this realm as long as his kid brother needs looking out for.

that's a surprisingly touching story. regarding the missing lower jaw, it wasn't a criticism in anatomy; i was only asking if there was something about it in the backstory  looks like it'll be another fun toy. good luck with vinyl!

An update on the Lab Mice - which I'm producing for Joe. Wax this week!

Also - that skeleton dude is looking great! I wonder if the torso and skull part would fit inside an evolved Diggler!
