Oh yeah. I remember him saying that now, but I didn't know a painted release would come this soon. I figured it'd be a blank release first. I'll have to put my order in when I have the money. Thanks for the link!

and one thats more likely to happen is this adult baby toy.

i'm tempted to dismiss the result of cat in the hat experiment as too wacky, where the details and character of the sculpt are obscured, but you never know. the adult toy colors, however, are spot on!

haha yeah theres no way I'm going to do the cat in the hat thing. i was thinking about stripes and that popped into my head. so did a barney paint job.

I love the unpainted mixed parts. Make it a release !

I agree that mixed parts is too awesome.i cant wait to hopefully see a blank gid one day.

you guys will just unmix'em to make solid blanks anyway!

i really like the mixed parts mock up too so ill probably do that one sooner than later.
a blank gid will most likely make an appearance as well at some point.
the only resin stegoforest that I have in my collection a blank gid and I love the way it looks.

Im going to take down the preorder for first release on friday night.

For an odd twist, I went for the painted version. If you're on the fence about this guy it is an excellent sculpt. I have a resin version and the shapes and details are great. Perfect size that will fit in with all those dollar store rubber dinos. I've loved the idea from the beginning and I'm glad it will finally be made in vinyl.

I was supposed to have these in hand and ready to ship by the end of the february, but there have been more factory delays..
I am going out of town this week and will be home on the 16th. I'm assuming these will get here while I am gone, so I will get them shipped out as soon they're here once Im back. Sorry to everyone who preordered one.
I'll get pictures posted as soon as I get them.

The toys made it to Portland, and then got sent back to Japan from an address mess up.
We were so close!
Hopefully attempt number 2 goes better.

In other news... Ive started discussing the details on my next couple toys, and will start posting details once the first stego release final goes out.

I'm pretty new to the game, so I missed this one, but I just wanted to say how beautiful I think this is! I'm hoping to be able to catch one the next go around! . Thanks for posting all of the great pics!
