Blech - that skull head looks terrible.

It does seem to be polarizing opinions . . . jury's out until I get chance to check it out 'in the flesh'.

I'm with NT on this, the skull looks blah. It doesnt fit aesthetically with the other figures. Looks like a bad mashup. I understand its a smaller version of their 1/1 skull, but I'm not fond of that one either. I think it's the teeth and the nostril.

And the figure just looks dull overall. Black with white tampos... Yeah it's classic SB but maybe try something more. Maybe do a rub on the rest of the figure, or change the Tampo up a bit...

I'm hoping it'll be one of those things that's best in hand - the side shot of it on SB makes it look a little off.
Maybe it'll depend on the rub though - the white rub on the black skull makes it look like it has a second row of teeth which kinda rounds off the head a bit more.

I had originally thought the head was shiny silver / chrome from the original SB email pic... was a little disappointed when I saw it up in the shop.
Might turn out better than expected.

I don't Love the skull, but I really dig these figures. I'm thinking the White w/Black Head and Black w/White Head + Bloody versions of both and then maybe even one other one. Not really sure, but I think I heard a hint to another one out there, but I have no idea what?

I didn't order it, but I'm pretty new to this stuff and it takes awhile for something to grow on me. I never thought I'd buy a non-balzac figure, but the Halloween hunger brought in some SB/S7 stuff and my first skull brain (original painted one) is on it's way over. I should have heeded those warnings, huh.

I agree. If the suit was a rub design it might have worked, but still doubtful. I think someone in the production dept. got lazy. Let's keep the cost down by just using up these old bodies with the new head sculpt. There's just too much contrast between the head and suit. You have a strong new design with the Skullhevi and then follow it up with this. Meh

But I'll wait until I hear from Andy. If he approves, I'll jump on board.

These are way cooler in person. Lot's of little details on the head. If anyone ends up with the white body version and isn't feeling it, hit me up.

Was just about to post the same. Maybe everyone's heads exploded from excitement..?

My guess is that people were either trying to keep it quiet, or they were too busy hoping to get lucky. I'm happy to say that I woke up to an awesome email this morning!
