I'm not sure but i think the large version don't have weapons. I have seen three large versions, the talker, the one with red hair in the helmet like this and other like the one Ultra Kaiju post before with yellow hair in the helmet.

I am not sure. I don't recall right now seeing a minty or sealed giant sized figure for a reference. I know the standard size had the usual purple scarf, but I think the giant sized might be right with the white. Jim's pic in the NA thread I think shows this as well. The stars are definitely missing though. Does anyone happen to know if there ever was a matching giant sword for this figure too? That would be a great thing to add to the reproduce (*or maybe 'produce' in this case) weapons thread.

This is from the magic box auctions a few years ago. You cant really tell much about the sword from the photo though. These are pretty tough to find in good shape.

From what I've seen watching and buying a few Ninja Arashi toys is, that unless bagged often accessories like weapons are long gone, and more than not- the tunic, belt, and scarf might not all be original. I guess it's pretty easy to make a new tunic from red vinyl, something I appreciate even if it is poorly done at times- because it's better than bare! I think all scarves should be purple.

Here's a shot from that Hero book. Is there a bootleg giant size as well? Of the three large Ninja Arashi in the back of the pic I know the center is the talker, but maybe one of the two others could be a boot? I know there are several standard bootlegs.

I'm pretty sure that those large size Ninja Arashi besides the talker are licensed, because I have seen the marks in the foot.
It's what I wanted to ask if anyone has seen a large size bootleg?

There is a real and a bootleg of that blue kamen rider. They look near identical, but one has copyrights and one does not.

I had no idea that there was a blue Kamen Rider licensed, because I've only seen the bootleg.

Beautiful! I hope the Tiger found his way back here to someone's collection (not mine! :x ). He looks to be in excellent condition, but I wonder if this is a Yellow or an Orange head? Hard to tell from the photos.

Mr. Humphreys the auction only had two photos of the top of the figures and in my appreciation this is the Tiger Seven with yellow head.

Best regards!

Thank you Alebrije! :) It's hard to tell from those photos. The front side pic looks yellow, but the back side looks more orangey. If a lucky boardie did adopt this wonderful Tiger, I hope he/she will post more pics when kittee arrives.

I forget what the top price for this was. Is this a new record? And wasn't it missing the handles?

Wow, I hadn't really looked at the description until now. I think you're right: no handles, no secondary wings, and I'm assuming no missiles/disks. All for a price that has beaten the previous record--as far as I'm aware--by about $5k.

That's FUCKED.

I know, right?

Just a few years makes a HELLUVA lot of difference. Like, over $15k of difference! Back then, if I'd known Spazers went for this kind of loot, I'd've made my own outta garbage barrel lids! :P

Aldo thanks for the link, did not know there were more figures from the same series, they all look great.

I hoped it was my lucky day and I could take it for a good price, but I believe that luck does not smile me yet.

Yeah, that is definitely a 'special' one. You can see him on CT as well, with a contribution description from Toygraph's Shuji Kajimoto. What a lovely toy he is. I am sure even some die hard collectors are sorry to have missed out on a chance for him.

You know, when you think about it though, in light of the crazy ridiculous prices some 'hyped' toys [which shall remain nameless] sell for without a blink these days, really, I would so much rather drop this kind of cash (if I had it) on something like. Just to say that, as expensive as some vintage toys are, I could theoretically at least justify it to myself - per mine own tastes. If only I was faced with such a conundrum. :P
