Very funny! I'm sure that'll be the case.. If they even make it to SDCC this year which is more what I was getting to. Last I heard they were still moving the studio/looking for a new space.

They'll probably share some space with Grass Hut again this year. They seem to make it every year regardless. The only reason to attend in my opinion.

Gargamel and mitari will be at SDCC again with me martin and kiyoshi. No word yet what they will bring aside from the above banter stuffs.

New studio set up & Joining SDCC 2014

Hello folks,
This is Kiyoka Ikeda from Gargamel.

I announced before, Gargamel studio moved Fukuoka to Kumamoto.
My first plan of finish moving was in April but I had miserable accident, therefore I had to move 2 times in Kumamoto.
Finally, I found decent space and set up all the stuff for working (internet access, etc) yesterday.
Because of the situation, I don't think I can carry the regular items as usual SDCC.
However, I'll make custom figure as much as I can.
I'll announce the items for SDCC later on.

Ook. Hope the string of bad luck has ended... I'm curious: is Ikeda working on Ggml full time or does he also have a "regular job"?

just a little chime in here to share what knowledge I have since kiyoka has posted about it. I think (at least to my knowledge) there was something in the translation that didn't come through. I think it was Gargamel's landlord at their first new studio earlier this year that had the accident. The space that they had just finished setting up became no longer available, and so they had to find another new place. So this is three moves in two/three years total with studio space.
I haven't talked to Kiyoka in a while about work stuff, but imagine he is still going strong with several other work projects outside of Gargamel, all sculpting gigs. looking forward to seeing what they bring.

^ one of the main reason to attend SDCC 2014 so could not be more excited… sorry to hear of the moving difficulties but excited as always for whats in store at SDCC

Agreed. Probably most excited for that one versus the other releases. Of course the 1-offs will be amazing but unattainable as usual.
