guess u are talking about the printed number on some of the solids feet (not etched)
no, of course mine don't have it either.
on the OG DX either... or the smoky kun with GID plate inside (guess thats what u meant when u said dark clear?)
i only have two solid kuns (the silver and gold) so never paid much attn to the print.
i'm a girl about translucence.

hehe,  sorry for my made up names but I guess you know which ones i am referring to...
me too, I mean I am into clears...but i have a few solid kuns that are signed and that makes up for not being clear.

a lot f the earlier bxh stuff has a laser-etched number on the bottom, different on each toy. you sort of have to tilt it in the light to see it. the later stuff doesnt have it.
I think the clue on these is actually the paint on the head, it should be a thick, matte white. NOT glossy or semi-glossy.
also, Medicom DID have a problem for along time with China manu running extras ( 'bootlegs') and swapped factories a few times in an attempt to avoid it.

I agree... my red and black bootlegs have glossy heads, while my real ones do not
