 BEWARE of eBay seller diasanraku!!!!!
So just this morning there was a nagnagnag listing on eBay. I went ahead and bid on the item. I actually won the nag for 380 something euros which I thought wow I csnt believe I got a deal. With 16 bids going on I distant think I would win. I was a little sketched out too why the bidding price wasn't going up tho. So I emailed the seller and no answer ( I emailed this person about 10 times) no answer. I asked to refund money and still no answer. Soon after I asked to refund my money he deleted the listing. Now I can't get in touch with this person.
I also found out after winning the nag, that martoy had recently sold the same nag aweigh same photo in august I believe for wayyyyyyyyyy more then wat I payed for the nag in the newer listing. So ffml lol
Beware of this dude ( diasanraku ) it's fraud and he's stealing pictures from older eBay toy listings and faking the sales.
Ps- does anyone know the right way to get my money back from this guy? I have never ever had to deal with scum like this on eBay. And I'm very disappointed.

Re: BEWARE of eBay seller diasanraku!!!!!
I am a little confused.
You won an auction and e-mailed the seller 10 times and asked for a refund all in the same day before you even got a response?

Re: BEWARE of eBay seller diasanraku!!!!!
Sorry, I wanted to try and fit as much as I can with little typing. Saw the listing on Sunday And tried contacting him since Sunday. ( asked a few questions in email ) I thought maybe this person was just busy and didnt checked his/her email So I went ahead and just put a bid on it . The account name diasanraku isn't registered anymore with eBay. This person deleted everything...sketchy so yes I asked for refund on the same day

Even if the seller bounced himself out of ebay and closed all his accounts and emptied his paypal it doesn't matter. Ebay will still refund you themselves then they will go try and get money from the seller but whether they can or not you will be refunded. As always your best bet is to call ebay. Forget the messages and all that stuff and just call and talk to a real person. It can be a little tricky to get a number but just play around in the help center until the Call Us message pops up. It has never failed me as a buyer.

Not sure if it still works but whenever you call a help center just keep pushing zero and you'll get a human on the line soon.

Re: BEWARE of eBay seller diasanraku!!!!!
I saw that and then saw the seller had pretty much opened an account just to sell the Nag. Avoided like the plague.
. . . . and yeah, i was watching the item and now its disappeared from my list.
I've been caught out on ebay myself a few times for not reading all the info, its easily done!

Re: BEWARE of eBay seller diasanraku!!!!!
It shouldn't be difficult to get your refund since I think new sellers still have to wait a while to get the money. So ebay is still holding your funds, that's why I don't get what sort of scam the seller was running...probably just a dumbass who thought they'd get the money and run.

Moral of the story: don't collect nags! 9 out of 10 times there is a douchebag involved somewhere along the lines.

I told the eBay rep. , a person who deletes his account and doesn't reply to messages after selling something on eBay is pretty sketchy but he didn't seem to care much. :/ all he said was to wait a couple days to see if I get a package in the mail lol...if I don't receive anything then they will take action. Some help that dude was. I couldn't even cancel the transfer on PayPal which was also a bummer.

Sorry to say it and im sure you know, you aren't getting that toy. If you do, Oceans will collide and Babylon will fall. never bid on something where the seller has 1 feedback. you're asking for it! best of luck with your refund though!

It was a minor hassle - you're protected through eBay/Paypal so it takes a week or two before you get your money back and the process was pretty easy. That being said, those were not multi-hundred dollar items...

Re: BEWARE of eBay seller diasanraku!!!!!
Several side points to be made: ebay doesn't care- as long as they get their double dip fees on the sale (ebay & paypal owned by same corporate entity), also any regular rep is just going to assume impatience over foul play. Like Mecha said escalate directly to a supervisor in a few days. In fact I do this in normal life with any customer service these days, unless the actual rep is on the ball (rare). Usually they have zero power and can't get anything done (hands tied to just basically redirect you into limbo increasing your frustration level).
As far as paypal, I'm not sure what your home country is for the claim, but here in the US you have only 45 days to file a claim (not received, damaged etc) currently. Now this changes to 180 days on November 18th 2014 but claims prior are not retroactive. I think other countries already have the 180 day policy in effect. Anyhow stay on top of it, don't miss your dates, and just be prepared for the process. Your money will be tied up for a bit.

Basically you either get to do that with ebay or with paypal, not with both. One can cancel the other out. Plus ebay has a money back promise thing and paypal sort of doesn't. So you could file with paypal and win and still be out the money you spent anyway. Just go through ebay only. It won't be quick since you will need to open a dispute and then a case and it's all time sensitive and requires waiting periods for each step. Just be patient and follow each step carefully.

Re: BEWARE of eBay seller diasanraku!!!!!
eBay has been pretty good about refunds when people fail to deliver. I think I've probably had that happen to me three times... They always gave me my money back. (Buying textbooks online for class has its risks, but hey, I saved 90%. ) Just be patient and wait until the required time passes, then file a claim in the Resolution Center on eBay. Do NOT file a report with PayPal, I've heard horror stories.

Re: BEWARE of eBay seller diasanraku!!!!!
Since you bought it on ebay go with them I guess, makes sense. I rarely use ebay for anything so I didn't know they had their own separate claim process. Still I don't know why everyone is so adamant about not resolving anything through paypal. I've never lost a case with a claim through paypal in 12+ years. They always side with me, hell 95% of my purchases in the last 12 years have been through them so they better! I usually have on average one claim a year I have to deal with. Everyone knows paypal & ebay are one in the same- as in ebay owns them right? It's a bit of a head scratch why there would be two separate processes for a claim? I though ebay forced everyone to use paypal a long time ago. As in you can't buy or sell without having a paypal account. Although I guess that would undermine all logic on how they double up on fees then, so they keep it pretty cloudy like they are two separate companies.

Actually... http://www.inc.com/associated-press/eba ... split.htmlNot sure what it will change. I've never lost a claim on either eBay or PayPal... Both systems seem fairly streamlined to me.

Re: BEWARE of eBay seller diasanraku!!!!!
Hmmm interesting move, and Sept 30th is the date so that just happened. Well anyone can see right through this move. Paypal may be a separate entity, but I'm sure some how some way connected to ebay financially by lining some of the pockets of the higher ups there. Ebay must be doing this because of all the new mobile paying tools coming into the market like Apple Pay. If they rigidly just used their own (paypal) they probably would lose some market share if Apple Pay gets big (and Apple has a way of cornering markets). By giving themselves (ebay) options they can have their cake and eat it to by allowing users different ways to pay (and charging those other mobile pay companies big bucks for being a payment option on ebay). They have to know users are frustrated with the current monopoly they seem to have with ebay and paypal. Otherwise they'd be left out in the cold and probably challenged by Apple & Google with alternative auction sites. All speculation on my part but what do I know I'm not in finance? I just can read between the lines.

The reason a few people suggested not to use paypal to resolve the dispute is just because ebay doesn't like when you do that. Any claims you make on ebay get cancelled when you go through the paypal claim system. In the past paypal could rule in your favor and you could still lose out if the other party had an empty paypal account and removed any attachment to their bank. So essentially some jerks would ripoff a bunch of people in a short period of time then empty their account and close whatever bank account was attached. Then when all those people file claims and win they still get nothing back. With ebay if that same exact thing happens they just pay you themselves regardless. It could be different now of course.
