We dont really have any off the shelf frames down here to suit these posters so will have to be professionally framed which costs an arm and a leg. Looking good!

I want to frame a couple things(including one of these)but even with the standard 50% off Michaels coupon they always want like 400-500 bucks a pop.

Ouch I've been curious about their prices for framing. Damn.

You can get decent sized prints framed for 200 or less during one of their 50-60% off sales. I have done it many times over the years in the south. They usually do a respectable job as well. Regional prices may vary I guess.

nice job on those!
I find it good to look for local framers too...that is what I did for my posters and it worked out for a fraction of what Michael's and other charge...sorry, don't want to derail, back to the regular program

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
Unless its an odd size or u need a special sized or specific color matte theres no reason to not frame things yourself. Besides brick & mortar stores theres plenty of framing supplie available online, even on amazon. Espeically for posters/prints, if its a $$ original than thats different story
My bad for cont derail and yea def look for mom & pop shops if your gonna pay someone

^ I used to go to mom and pop shops in NC, I have found where I'm living now they all want MUCH more than Michael's charges during their big sales. I am all for using local folks...as long as it doesn't cost twice as much.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyrann
Glad you like them. I waited so long because I was sure I couldn't frame them myself (because of the "Japanese" dimensions) and that it would cost me a lot. I also waited to find the right spot and was still thinking about displaying them as a "trilogy". I didn't want them to be fully exposed to sunlight (as I don't know if the glass of the frame protects them from the UV deterioration...).
But at a local hardware store I found some nice wooden frames (24x32 inches) and I had the mat made professionally. $60 overall for framing each poster. Way under professional framing around here.
I am quite happy with the result.

That print is so awesome! I would love to see a King painted up just like that pupils, and all. Has there been a previous release with the painted pupil before?

REALLY nice to have some rough textures going on in this sculpt. I also appreciate H.S.'s unwavering attention to detail when it comes to the genital area . Has the butthole screw fallen out on the battle-damaged version? Inquiring minds want to know!
