Sucks to hear about the paint problems on the Itchi Pdmcb.

Don't quote me on this as my Japanese is as basic as it comes, I'm pretty sure he's corrected the problem for today's release and is saying he was aware of a paint problem on one or more of the figures.

In celebration of the Forest Festival, Atom released the NZambi version of Itchinesu along with the Fresh Fish Fusen

I don't collect Atom A toys but I'm constantly impressed by what's been put out. Some of the toys are borderline bizarre but I'd much rather follow this thread then some of the hyped up bullshit that's being passed as toys these days.

The paint rub looks absolutely incredible, I can't imagine what it must look like glowing... These were a shop-drop, right? Kicking myself for not following the blog more closely.

^His paint jobs are something to behold in the hand. Atom A is easily one of the best painters out there. I am looking forward to new sculpts as well. His stuff also helped to (finally) give me a much-overdue appreciation of RxH toys.

The weirdness at first was off-putting to me, but I embraced it and am glad I did. The Sunshine Trooper is truly bizarre and the only one I really find disturbing, but the paint apps are so good you get over the shock quickly.

Yep, i'd like an itchy at some point but i would prefer it with standard gloss paint . . . . i'm not sure about all these matt finish ones.
Of course, i'd probably change my mind if i had one in-hand

I did not enter in time. But I am curious, which figure is the イッチネスSurtr? Or, does Atom A just decide among the 3 figures pictured?

The new lottery version Surtr Itchy is in the first two photos, the third shows the new release alongside the HyperHobby AMA Sunshine 80k (3rd release I believe) & the recent HyperHobby Itchinesu.

Thank you. Each one of them is beautiful, and the Sunshine's arm paint application is haunting.
