Regardless of being against a very difficult government, what really strikes me as a problem is an inability to have a real plan once those in power are removed, there is very little talk about how to affect change at a political level. Look at the arab spring, its been a while and there is yet to be any real change taking place. In Mexico's case, worse than the government's apathy to its people, is the fact that organized crime would have a field day once revolutions are done.

Estoy completamente de acuerdo. Sin embargo, debe haber algunos políticos y gente de poder en su país que no son corruptos. Tomando una rodilla con ellos para organizar podría ser un paso hacia adelante. Entonces me gustaría atacar tanto al gobierno como a los criminales al unísono. Sería inútil para atacarlos por separado. Al final, sin embargo, son uno en el mismo, ¿no es así.

Por cierto, en Chicago hay una taqueria llamada authentaco (ya se, Inche nombre) pero sirven los tacos igualitos que en el df (a precio gringo). La keka de huitlacoche les queda con ganas.

Es imposible ya entender al gobierno en México sin la influencia del narco. Y si vamos más allá también Estados Unidos tiene sus manos en la masa. Y los narcos allá. No hay salida. Tienen razón, que una revolución no cambia mucho las cosas si no se cortan de raiz. No sólo lo vimos en la primavera árabe, sino hace 100 años con la revolución Méxicana, donde siempre es primero lo que el individuo quiere y las traiciones están a la orden del día. Los que tienen ideales, dígase Madero, Zapata, Ocampo, fueron traicionados por otros intereses. Qué hacer entonces?

En realidad llegar a un punto así es porque una situación es insostenible, y aunque sea motivada por líderes pensantes, no se puede encausar como originalmente se ideó. Sí, al final todo sería igual con diferentes caras y nombres, pero se va acumulando el vapor a presión. Quién puede más? El opresor deteniendo la tapa? o el oprimido aguantando el calor? Ojalá hubiera soluciones más simples y mejores. No dudo que haya gente de bien trabajando, pero creo que son pocos. No se ve un panorama muy prometedor.

The government of my country is taking people away. They are suffering of torture. Physical and psychological.
They are spreading terror.
Tonight, the 8th of november, we took streets in Mexico City and after we walked peacefully, a strange and anarchist group with masked faces put the main entrance of “Palacio Nacional” on fire.
They didn’t came with us.
We were walking in peace. Yelling, yes. A lot. But in peace.
We are fighting against violence, so it is really, really stupid to claim for peace, with actions like these.
This is not new in Mexico. The government always use these payed groups of people to criminalise any social movement.
But we are possibly heading to a new era in our country.
We are tired of corruption. We are tired of cold assassination. We are tired of the criminals who can walk in peace, and we are tired that both police and military forces protect them.
We are so alone right now.
We are so unprotected right now.
We are not scared. We are terrorised.
We need you to focus your attention for the next few days, so they don’t dissappear and kill more of our young people.
Government are killing people just because they can, and no one can stop them.
We have no weapons, and we don’t want some.
We want to make a change after 70 years of corrupcy. They have took everything.
They took our faith, our hope, our jobs, our dreams.
They are destroying us.
My country is one of the most beautiful and interesting countries in the world, and now foreign people are even recommended not to visit this beautiful land because of insecurity.
We need you to reblog everything about Mexico these days.
Don’t let us alone.
Don’t let us get killed.
Don’t let us get burned, like our missing 43 students.

Han estado muy callados por aquí. Qué opinan de que la Ciudad de México cambia su nombre oficial de Distrito Federal a Ciudad de México, y el gentilicio de Defequense a Mexiqueño (aunque al parece aun no se decidió esto últmo oficialmente)?
Ni modo de que hablemos del papa en México, no sean culeros.

Jajajajaja mañana seguro habra por toda la ciudad bootlegs de "el papa pancho" y ese pinche cambio al nombre de la ciudad esta para morirse de risa, no tengo el gusto de conocerlos mas que al daniel y al buen walter, pero saludos igual desde el df!!!

Se me hace que el único que nos conoce a todos es el Daniel. Pues no sé cual será el verdadero motivo del cambio de nombre de la ciudad, parece un gasto innecesario de tiempo, esfuerzo, etc... pero algo debe haber ahí detrás.

Por cierto hoy fui a comer al Mercado Roma, que parece ser muy popular, siempre hay mucha gente. Solo me fui con una decepción, no hay nada interesante ahí.

Pa que le cambian el nombre? Solo se quieren dar aires. El DF siempre me sonó más bonito que Ciudad de México, hay montones de ciudades pero nomas un Distrito Federal.

Yo fui a darle una vuelta a mi rancho y las cosas siguen igual de zarras. Lo único bueno es que el dólar está bien Chido, lo malo es que todos mis amigos ganan en pesos y me mandaban a la reata cuando les preguntaba qué si íbamos a cenar por ahí seis noches al hilo. Jojojo. Eso sí, la ciudad rechula con eso de que va el papa y hay que ponerse de traje con el Sr.
