I think marbling can be excellent... but mostly when it's subtle and/or doesn't interfere with overall visual appreciation of the sculpt. The particular purple and grey ones used for the shot here are both great; if ever you needed a perfect example of marbling making a toy look like utter unintelligible shit, you have it in the orange one.

agreed. the face is a whirlwhind of blurry nothingness. I'm a rube, but are there different pouring techniques that create different marbling effects?

No idea about the Maza, but it sounds like the Fancy Train sets ( from the pre-order way back in September ) are about to start landing

I got my tracking-number for the train set about 3 days ago.......

After I paid I got the following email:

Can someone remember, how the 2 baragon battle sets were released? (Open-) Preorder? Lottery?

Any idea how many of these were made?

Open pre-order. There was probably a production limit. But over all during the time of sales for both sales stated pre-order with orders taken chronological.

Weirdly zollmen ignored my emails, and follow- up email, for the marbled Maza pre-order. So if anyone gets one and, yknow, isn't feeling it, lmk. These were awesome in my book. Can't wait to see how they turn out.

Whomever got the new Gosei Ningen "Synthetic Human" from Wonderfestival, please post pics as Im curious of the eye detail as well as color of face and body. Hard to see from the few pics that exist.

Still unsure about the colors "fitting in with the rest of the collection", but the pour is pretty much perfect imo. Especially considering the way blue & red marbling can turn out...
